Why is an aspect ratio of 10:7 the regular crop setting for photos?

Because of the higher resolution for images taken with the 20MP main camera, an aspect ratio of 10:7 is needed as the regular crop setting. You can change to a different aspect ratio (16:9 or 1:1) in Camera settings, but the resolution will also be lower.
