How do I reboot the phone using hardware buttons?

Try holding down one of these button combinations:

  • Hold down the VOLUME DOWN and POWER buttons at the same time. Release the buttons when the phone vibrates.
  • Hold down the VOLUME UP and POWER buttons at the same time until the phone restarts.
  • Hold down the VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, and POWER buttons at the same time for up to 2 minutes.
On some phones, some of these combinations may power the phone on into the Bootloader or Download Mode screen. When a list of options appears, use the VOLUME buttons to navigate the list, and then press POWER to select an option.
  • If you see Reboot, navigate to and select it.
  • If you see Fastboot, navigate to and select it first. Then select Reboot.
Note: Make sure you do not select the other options on the screen. Doing so may void your warranty or brick your phone.
