Smart display

Smart display gives you a quick glimpse of the date and time, battery status, and notification icons.

You can choose a clock style and set when you want Smart display to be shown.

1. From the Home screen, swipe up and then tap Settings > Display & gestures.
2. Tap Advanced > Smart display.
3. Tap a clock style you want to use.
4. Tap Settings options, and do the following:
   • Select Motion launch to show Smart display when you lift up the phone while the screen is off.
   • Select Always on if you want Smart display to be shown when the screen is off.

     To use lesser battery power, set the schedule when to show Smart display.

Tip:

• You can turn off Smart display by tapping its On/Off switch.
• When you're traveling, Smart display can show your current location and home time zones if travel mode is enabled. For details, see Travel mode.
