Getting started with the VIVERSE mobile app

The VIVERSE platform connects individuals and communities together in the metaverse, allowing you to create your avatars, explore virtual worlds, and socialize from any device. With the VIVERSE mobile app, you can do all these right from your phone.

Note: You can download the latest app version from here.

If this is your first time to use the VIVERSE app, here's how to get started:

1. On your phone, open VIVERSE.
2. Tap Sign in and sign in to VIVERSE using one of the following methods:

   Method	Description
   WalletConnect	Sign in using a WalletConnect-compatible wallet such as VIVE Wallet. Note: If this is your first time to sign in to the VIVERSE platform using your wallet, a new HTC account will be created.
   HTC Account	Sign in using your existing HTC account. Tip: If you don't have an HTC account, tap Create New Account to create one using your email address or phone number.

   Note: If you chose a standard avatar on the Welcome to VIVERSE screen and didn't sign in, you can still use the VIVERSE app as a guest user, but the selected avatar will not be saved to your HTC account.
3. Tap Account > My Avatars and do any of the following:
   • If you have existing avatars, select an avatar, and then tap Set as active to use it as your avatar in VIVERSE.
   • To create a virtual character as your avatar, tap Create avatar, choose a base model to start with, and follow the onscreen instructions to customize and save your avatar.
   Tip:

   • You can also use VIVE Avatar Creator to create a more realistic avatar. For details, see Using the VIVE Avatar Creator mobile app.
   • To find out about other ways of creating avatars, visit the VIVERSE Avatar website.
4. Tap the tabs at the bottom to use various VIVERSE services.
   

   Tab	Description
   Home	Explore the diverse worlds within VIVERSE, including exciting collaborations and exhibitions with partners. For details, see the World Help and FAQs in the VIVERSE Help Center.
   Events
   AR	Say hi to your friends in a fun and unique way! Use our AR service to send customized and lively messages with your own avatar. A one-of-a-kind social experience that your friends will love. For details, see AR Messaging.
   Market	Choose from our curated NFT collections created by renowned artists, brands, and creators worldwide. Buy yourself pieces of unique digital collectibles, World environments, and designer virtual clothing for your avatar. For details, see the Market Help and FAQs in the VIVERSE Help Center.
   Account	View your created worlds, change your display name, create and switch between your avatars, check your purchases on Market, and more.
