It reduces the usage of features that drain the battery such as location services and mobile data.

Home screen, swipe up and then find and tap
Settings.

TURN ON NOW or
TURN OFF NOW to turn Battery saver mode on or off.
To set when to automatically switch this mode on, tap the
Turn on automatically
On/Off
switch. Then adjust the slider to set t a battery level.
