You can use picture-in-picture on videos played directly from the
YouTube® app if you have a
YouTube Red™ subscription which is currently available in some countries. Check the
YouTube Red website for availability in your country.
If you have a regular
YouTube subscription, you can use picture-in-picture when playing
YouTube videos from the
Google Chrome™ browser.

Open the
Chrome app.

Go to
YouTube and sign in to your account.

Tap
, and then select
Desktop site.

Play a video in full screen, and then tap press HOME to minimize the video to a small window on the screen.
