You can turn off the shutter sound by setting your phone's ringtone and notifications volume to silent or vibrate mode.
Do any of the following:
- Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button until your phone vibrates. Or while the phone is in vibrate mode, press the VOLUME DOWN button once to put it in silent mode.
- Go to
Settings, and then tap
Sound or tap
to find the ringtone volume slider. Drag the slider all the way to the left.
After capturing the screen, turn up the phone's ringtone and notifications or ring volume so you won't miss calls, messages, and other notifications.
