Can the lock screen be removed or hidden?

Yes. If you prefer not to have a lock screen, you can disable it in Settings.

1. From the Home screen, tap > Settings > Security.
2. Tap Screen lock > No lock screen. Both the security and lock screens will be disabled.

Note: Some Exchange security policies may force a lock screen to be enabled with a PIN and/or password.
