HTC U23 pro can connect to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
Wi-Fi networks.
HTC U23 pro also supports the
Wi-Fi 6E standard. You can connect your phone to 6 GHz wireless networks in regions where the phone is certified to use
Wi-Fi 6E.
Note: Currently,
HTC U23 pro can only use
Wi-Fi 6E in select regions. Because
Wi-Fi 6E is still a new standard, availability and channels will be dependent on local legislation in your country.
- From the
Home screen, tap
.
- Tap
Internet, and then tap the
Wi-Fi
On/Off
switch to turn it on.
- Tap a
Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
- If you selected a secured network, enter the network key or password.
- Tap
Connect.
The
Wi-Fi network setting will be saved. The
Wi-Fi icon (
,
, or
) will be displayed in the status bar.
Tip:
- The number shown on the
Wi-Fi icon indicates whether you've connected to a 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz network.
- You can save several
Wi-Fi network connections. To switch to a different
Wi-Fi network, tap
Saved networks on the
Wi-Fi screen and then select the network you want to connect to.
- When you don't need to use
Wi-Fi, open the Quick Settings panel and turn
Wi-Fi off to save battery life. See
