Why doesn't my phone display app choices anymore when I tap a link?

When you tap a link—or take actions such as call a phone number or open your SD card—you may be prompted to select an app and choose whether to use it Just once or Always. If you choose Always, your phone won't ask you to choose from available apps.

To allow your phone to display app choices again, follow the steps below.

1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
2. Tap See all __ apps.
3. Find and tap the app that always opens—such as the default browser when you tap a link.
4. Tap Open by default > Clear default preferences.
