Bokeh effect

In Portrait mode, you can take portrait shots and selfies with a soft blurred background. Bokeh light spots that appear in the background or on the subject can also be changed into different shapes such as heart, butterfly, or star shapes.
Important:
  • To get a nice blurred background when taking portrait shots, keep a distance of 0.5-1.5m (2-5 ft) between your phone and your subject.
  • You need to be in a well-lit environment.
  • Some features such as HDR, zooming, and flash are not available in Portrait mode.
  1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
  2. Switch to Portrait mode. See Choosing a capture mode.
  3. Tap Switch camera button to switch between the front and main cameras.
  4. To change bokeh light spots into a certain shape, tap Bokeh effect button and then select a shape you want to use. Drag the slider to adjust the blur level.
  5. Point the main camera at your subject, or pose at the front camera if you're taking a selfie.
  6. When you're ready to take the photo, tap Camera shutter button.
