Google Photos won't let me delete photos from my SD card. What do I do?

If Google Photos™ doesn't have permission to access your SD card, you won't be able to delete photos from your card. Here's how to set SD card access permissions.

Important: Make sure to install the latest Google Photos app update.

1. Open the Google Photos app.
2. Tap your profile photo on the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap Photos settings > SD card access > Get started.
4. If the SD card content is not displayed, tap and then switch to your SD card.
5. Tap Use this folder > Allow.
