Can I recover deleted photos and videos, and how?

If you deleted photos and videos by tapping the trash icon, you may be able to recover them. They stay in the trash for up to 60 days before they're permanently removed from your Google Account.

However, if your photos and videos weren't backed up and you tapped > Delete from device to delete them, they won't be in the trash and can't be recovered.

Here's how to restore deleted photos and videos from the trash:

1. Open the Google Photos app.
2. Sign in to your Google Account.
