Manually adjusting camera settings

Want to have expert command of your camera settings for different environments or lighting conditions? Use Pro mode to manually adjust the values for settings like white balance, exposure, ISO, and more. You can then save the adjustments for reuse.
  1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
  2. Switch to Pro mode. See Choosing a capture mode for details.
  3. Tap a setting, and then drag its wheel or slider to make adjustments.

    Tap the setting again to hide the wheel or slider.

  4. To save the adjustments as a custom setting, tap Add icon, select Custom 1, 2, or 3, and then tap Save.

    To use one of your custom settings, tap Camera pro mode set to auto button or Camera pro mode custom icon, and then select the custom setting (Camera pro mode custom setting one icon, Camera pro mode custom setting two icon, or Camera pro mode custom setting three icon) to use.

  5. To change a setting back to auto, tap Auto setting mode button.
  6. When you're ready to take the photo, tap Raw capture shutter button.
