Making a call

Use the Phone app to make calls.

1. On the Home screen, tap the phone icon to open the Phone app.
2. Do one of the following:
   • To dial a number, tap . Enter the phone number or first few letters of the contact’s name to see matching contacts.
   • To call a saved contact, tap
   • To call a contact from the call history, tap
   • To call a contact that you've set as a favorite, tap
3. Tap the contact you want to call or tap .
   Tip: If the phone number has an extension, tap after connecting to the main line and then dial the extension number.
4. When you're done with the call, tap .
