HTC is proud to announce that it has been honored with three major awards at the 17th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) event this year, highlighting its continued leadership in sustainability and commitment to a net-zero future.
At TCSA, HTC was granted the “Corporate Sustainability Report Awards – Telecommunications Industry – Platinum Award”, marking its second consecutive year to receive the highest level of recognition in sustainability reporting. Additionally, HTC was a recipient of the “Taiwan’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies Awards” under the Premier Sustainability Performance Awards category. These recognitions follow the “Climate Leadership Award” which HTC received during the first phase of the TCSA, solidifying the company’s role as a trailblazer in sustainability.
The TCSA, hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), is regarded as the “Oscars of Sustainability” in Taiwan. It attracts organizations committed to excellence in Environmental Sustainability (E), Social Responsibility (S), and Corporate Governance (G). As of 2024, a cumulative total of 882 companies have participated in TCSA, representing total 2023 revenues of NT$36.5 trillion—which exceeds Taiwan's GDP by over 55%. A professional judging panel of 1,731 members evaluated the submissions based on international ESG standards.
HTC’s inclusion among Taiwan’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies reflects the company’s dedication to sustainability across its operations. This is a testament to the ongoing efforts of HTC’s ESG team, whose work has allowed the company to produce award-winning sustainability reports that align with global benchmarks and drive meaningful environmental progress.
