I forgot my Secure Box password

If you have forgotten your Secure Box password, you need to perform a factory data reset to recover it.

Note: After performing the factory data reset, all personal data will be deleted from the phone, including any data previously stored in Secure Box. Make sure to create a backup before a factory data reset.

Note: Factory Reset Protection may be enabled. Before taking the following steps, ensure you have the login information of the main Google account that is logged into the phone or you will be unable to use the phone.

Go to Settings, and then tap Backup & reset.
Tap Factory data reset or Reset phone.
Tap Reset phone or OK.
