Your
RE has a charging protection that may be enabled when you've used a non-qualified charger.
If this happens, reset the charging protection.

Hold your
RE with the lens facing up.

Open the
microSD slot cover located at the bottom of your
RE.

Push the tip of a small bent paperclip onto the Reset button. You'll hear the startup sound.

Use a recommended charger when connecting your
RE to a power source.
