Turning some functions on or off from HTC Ice View

You can also perform quick actions on the phone case, such as starting or dismissing the timer or turning the flashlight on or off.
  1. Perform any of the following:
    • Open the Clock app, and then go to the Timer tab. Set the timer, then tap Start.
    • Open the Voice Recorder app, and then start a recording.
    • Open the Flashlight app, and then turn the flashlight on.
  2. Close the phone case.

    Here are some quick actions you can do:

    • When you see the timer notification on the phone case, swipe down on Dismiss to dismiss the alarm.

      If you need to restart the timer, swipe up on Timer, and then open the case. This opens the Clock app once again.

    • To pause the voice recording, double-tap on the phone case, and then swipe down on Stop voice recording. Swipe up on to resume recording.

      To stop voice recording, double-tap on the phone case, and then swipe down on Stop voice recording twice.

    • To turn the flashlight off, double-tap on the phone case, and then swipe down on Flashlight. Swipe up on Flashlight off to turn it on again.
