How to manage your mobile data

Your mobile carrier's mobile data connection provides you with internet access for online web browsing and a range of online services.

NOTE: If you don’t have the mobile data turned on and you’re also not connected to a Wi-Fi network, you won’t receive automatic updates to your email, social network accounts, and other synced information online.

Follow these steps to manage your data connection:

Navigate to Settings > Wireless & networks.
Tap More.
Navigate to Mobile networks > Data connection.
Select your mobile operator's name to turn on the data connection.
