You may see profile phtos for your contacts, which are unclear or blurred.

Photos which are used for contacts are compressed before being uploaded. This can result in them being blurred when displayed in your Contacts app. Photos with a large resolution are compressed more, and lose image quality. Try using a photo with a lower image resolution.
