Salary and Benefits
HTC is grateful for the hard work of all employees so we provide excellent salary and benefits, and comprehensive welfare policies to share profits with our employees. In terms of salary and welfare policies, we strictly comply with local labor laws and regulations, and do not discriminate based on gender, race, nationality, age, religion, or political position. We also implement a systematic performance evaluation system to ensure the fairness and reasonableness of remuneration that considers market level and future development prospects, adjust salaries, and provide bonuses to align employee salaries with organizational performance, effectively retain and motivate talent, and promote continuous innovation.
Work-life Balance Support
In addition, in order to encourage and support employees to raise the next generation with confidence, HTC has a perfect application system for family care leave and parental leave to protect employees' work rights so that parents can take care of their newborns with ease.
Pension systems
Since day one, HTC's pension plan has been in place in compliance with the regulations. 2% of annual salary paid was set aside from November 1999 for the pension fund. Since 2004, 8% of annual salary paid was handed over to the Labor Pension Reserve Supervision Committee to deposit and make payments from a dedicated account. On July 1, 2005, the New Labor Pension Scheme became effective, and HTC started setting aside part of the salary of employees who chose the new scheme for their pension fund. After careful calculations and consideration and approval by the competent authority, the 8% appropriation of old scheme was revised to 2% for those who remained on the old scheme. In May, 2024, the accumulated funds appropriated reached the legal standard, and hence HTC applied to the authority to suspend appropriation. The request for a one-year suspension was approved.
Diversified Employee Welfare
In addition to providing all employees with labor, health insurance, club activity subsidies, departmental dinners and employee gyms, it also provides full-time employees with labor retirement and group insurance, employee health checks, employee meal subsidies, and annual travel subsidies and other benefits.
