How to wipe your cache partition
Wiping your phone's cache partition can help resolve general app slowness such as messages loading slowly in the Messages app, lag when using HTC Sense®, and various random glitches and errors.
  1. Turn off the phone completely. If necessary, choose one of the options below to force the phone to reboot and then turn it off.
    • Press and hold the POWER button for 10-15 seconds until the phone restarts.
    • Press and hold the VOLUME UP and POWER buttons for up to two minutes or until the phone vibrates.
    • Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and POWER buttons for up to two minutes or until the phone vibrates.
  2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button while turning the phone on.
  3. Continue to hold the VOLUME DOWN button until the Bootloader is displayed.
  4. Press the VOLUME DOWN button until Recovery is selected.
  5. Press the POWER button.
The phone will restart and display the Recovery mode. Follow these steps:
  1. Press and hold the VOLUME UP button. Then press and release thePOWER button.
  2. Press the VOLUME DOWN button until Wipe cache partition is selected.
  3. Press the POWER button.
  4. If prompted, press the VOLUME DOWN button until Yes is selected. Then press the POWER button.
  5. Press the VOLUME DOWN button until Reboot system now is selected.
  6. Press the POWER button. The phone will restart normally.
