Developer Options: How to use the "Force GPU rendering" Feature
NOTE: Developer options are for development and testing purposes. Changes may affect phone performance and stability. It is advised that you keep the default settings; otherwise, please proceed with caution.
This feature forces hardware-accelerated rendering for controls, making the UI faster. This was added in later versions of Android. Not all apps are compatible with it, nor are all methods of rendering the app's user interface. This setting is used for testing before changing the app to use GPU rendering without this option checked.
To use this feature, go to: Menu > Settings > Developer options and look for Force GPU rendering.
