I receive error 85010014 or 0x85010014 when syncing with Outlook

You may receive error 85010014 or 0x85010014 when syncing with Outlook. This issue only affects devices using ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center.

This error code indicates a problem with Microsoft Outlook. Follow these steps:

  1. If the Microsoft Outlook app is installed on your phone, see My apps are not working for uninstall and reinstall instructions.
  2. If your phone is connecting to a Microsoft Outlook server on a Windows computer, contact your mail service administrator for support.
