Automated phone systems (including IVR systems) require the use of dial tones. To enable dial tones on your phone, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Home > Menu > Settings > Sound and Display > Dial Pad Tones.
   This may be labeled Audible touch tones in some models.
2. Choose between Long, Short, and None.
   This sets the duration of the tone played when you press numbers in the dial pad.
