I'm having problems with a third-party app launcher

You may be experiencing any of these issues:

  • When you try to use a third-party app launcher it crashes or reverts to HTC Sense.
  • When you try to use a third-party app launcher you lose all app settings when switching between apps or restarting your phone.

Follow these steps to select your preferred app launcher:

  1. Quickly tap the HOME button twice.
    A dialogue will display showing Complete the action using...
  2. Select your preferred launcher from the menu provided.
  3. Tap Always to make this the default app launcher.

Follow these steps to reset to your phone's default launcher:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Apps.
  2. Locate your current launcher and select it.
  3. Tap Clear defaults.
  4. Tap the HOME button to return to the Home screen and check your setting has changed.
