How do I turn off voice search censorship?

You may wish to stop your voice search settings blocking certain words. If you are using Sense 3.0 (Android 2.3.4), follow these steps to configure your voice search settings:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Voice Input & Output > Voice recognizer settings.
  2. Uncheck Block offensive words.

If you are using Sense 4.0 or later, follow these steps to configure your voice search settings:

  1. Drag down the notifications bar and tap Settings.
    Alternatively, navigate to All Apps > Settings.
  2. Navigate to Language & Keyboard > Voice Search.
  3. Uncheck Block offensive words.
