  1. Available storage is less due to phone software.
  2. Network bands in regions other than Europe and Asia Pacific may be different, depending on the mobile operator and your location. Upload and download speeds also depend on the mobile operator.
  3. NFC availability depends on the mobile operator and your location. Please check with your mobile operator.
  4. Battery times (talk time, standby time, and more) are subject to network and phone usage.
A Standby time specification ("specification") is an industry standard that is only intended to allow comparison of different mobile devices under the same circumstances. Power consumption in a standby state is strongly dependent on factors including but not limited to network, settings, location, movement, signal strength and cell traffic . Comparisons of different mobile devices using such a specification can therefore only be done in a controlled laboratory environment . When using any mobile device in real life circumstances for which the mobile device is intended, the standby time could be considerably lower and will be strongly dependent on the factors as mentioned above.

Note: Specifications are subject to change without prior notice

Windows Phone 8X by HTC 4.4 5 260 260
The Best Phone I Ever Had I replaced my old phone from 2008 with this and I simply love it - the body design, the operating system, the camera, the ease of use. Although, in my listening experience, my old phone sounds better, but overall it's the best I ever had. January 23, 2013
Best phone I have used I used to have a Droid Razr, and I loved it. I never thought I would get a phone that I liked more. It was a lean, mean, efficiency machine. I then got Windows 8 for my home PC and fell in love with the new interface. When I came due for an upgrade I thought "why not get this nice phone and if I don't like it I can just sell it and keep my droid." Well, I ended up selling the droid and keeping this phone instead. Features: Though Droid and iOS have more apps (for now) that Windows phones, I found ever app I ever needed. Plus, you can download xbox live games and they count toward your xbox profile for points (even many of the free ones). Though I do wish you could transfer games you already have to the phone (YOU CANNOT DO THAT) I understand why they don't. It is a different console, it would be like saying "well I own the game for PC so I should get a free PS3 AND Xbox 360 version too." Not the same product. Further, all the apps I use have the streamlined, metro styling of the Windows 8 operating system. IF you DO NOT LIKE Windows 8 DO NOT GET this phone. My one complaint on apps is that the facebook app has some limitations involving groups and events (you cannot use all features on these pages) otherwise it is wonderful. Ease of Use: I put 5 stars for this because FOR ME it was easy to get used to. That being said, if you are used to an iPhone interface of a Droid interface and have never used Windows 8 there WILL BE A LEARNING CURB. Just be patient, explore what doing different things does. (one trick I like is if you HOLD the back button, it will let you pan through all of the apps you currently have running in the background. Great for going back and forth from messages to games or social networking sites). There are plenty of tutorials online to help you get started and the built-in tutorial is also quite informative. Battery Life: With moderate to heavy usage (I use my phone all day at work as an mp3 player and also use FB and texting all day) you can typically get through an entire day on one charge. To me, that is more than adequate. Also, as an added bonus it is compatible with the FatBoy charging pillow. Design: It will take some getting used to. The lock button is on top as opposed to the side. Was a strange adjustment but I got used to it. Also, you will probably accidentally take a lot of pictures of random things at first while getting used to the location of the camera button. The camera, by the way, takes fantastic pictures for typical point-and-click captures. Performance: 1.5ghz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. That is plenty for a phone. Sure you aren't going to be playing any Call of Duty on here, but again... it is a phone. Overall: Definitely a 5 star from me. I have had no disappointment with my phone. Fairly durable (dropped it a few times and managed to dent the camera button somehow but still works fine), great battery life, nice sound quality, and does everything you would ever need a smart phone to do. Its Brilliant! It has absolutely everything I would expect in any Smart Phone. The entire experience has been very exciting! I am very satisfied with the results, mainly because it is fun, easy to use & very easy on the eyes. I would recommend this product to anyone! April 19, 2013
On hand experience Nice phone with super slim design, faster net browsing, 4g etc etc. but lacks sound equilizer. January 30, 2013
The Ultimate Choice This phone applied the proverb : With HTC 8X Phones became able to change your Life. January 15, 2013
nice phone but lacks support from htc What htc has done is developed an awesome phone with no support. No apps have been designed specifically for 8x. Performance wise the phone is good but what good is it wit no app support. Nokia releases apps but htc is very much bothered about its android market. January 27, 2013
Nice specs & design, yet powerful, truely a flagship phone! This is my 4th HTC (5th smartphone in all), and by far the best and most good looking of them all. Amazing design with vibrant colors (I have the California Blue), and it sure makes heads turn just by the sheer look of it. Kudos to HTC for making a phone that stands out from other boring smartphone designs. Saying that, there's one concern; the soft matte finish on the body. I feel that it will fade or lose the color as time goes by. The f/2.0 autofocus camera is really good with BSI sensor, and produces good shots in low light too. The front camera is ultra-wide lens; widest out there, which means you can cover more area and people into the frame; it supports 1080p video, perfect for video chats. The 4.3 inch 720p Super LCD2 display is absolutely gorgeous, a treat to watch every single time. It has 341ppi, which makes text and other content sharp and a pleasure to look at. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The screen has 16:9 aspect ratio. It has great viewing angles and also works good in outdoor conditions. Being powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM, the performance is butter-smooth. No questions about that, as Windows Phone already feels snappy and smooth with configurations of even a single core processor. Battery is a 1800mAh one, which seems ok, if not great. For a power user, it should go through a working day on a single charge. Call quality and audio is top notch and clear. Beats audio with built in pre-amplifier is an added advantage. Other specifications are also nice, such as NFC support. Pros: Amazing looks and design. High-end specs in a compact and colorful package. Good camera. Great audio. Great performance, very smooth with no lag. Cons: Battery life is moderate, but should be ok for normal users. Power users might feel the need to charge it more often. Just 16GB internal storage, no option to add external storage. Overall, there's no doubt that 8X is a worthy flagship. I would definitely recommend it. January 30, 2013
HTC 8x Review This has got to be one of the nicest looking phones that i have ever owned. It's overall look is sleek and fits great in the hand! I have no problems typing and searching because the way its built allows the user to navigate through it with ease. When you first turn this phone on the vividness of the live tiles is impeccable and the ease of customizing their size and location makes it even more fun to play with. I did not think i would like the tiles and the microsoft layout of everything having come from an 1X but i am loving every bit of it. The camera on this thing is insane! The photos come out looks amazing and the tap option that counts down from 3 is very handy. This phone has AN ACTUAL CAMERA BUTTON!!! Having that physical button on the side is amazing! No more shaky photos! Even with video this phones proves to be just amazing. The only cons i would say this phone has is with its app market. The Microsoft market does not have the exact same apps as the play market has or even itunes but in the end its basically the same. BUT i have to say the the FACEBOOK app in the microsoft office is much nicer and much easier to navigate through than the one on the play store. January 30, 2013
