Rated 5 out of 5Â by KingofKats Best Android device I've ever used...
...and I've used a bunch. I sold my Samsung Galaxy S3 to get this phone, and feel it beets the S3 and S4 in every department. It's the most handsome, solid and satisfying phone, with its aluminum unibody. The Zoes and Highlights place the HTC One camera at the top of the heap. Battery life is about as good as it gets on an Android phone -- I think Google has work to do here on runaway apps. HTC has made big strides in making Android more intuitive, but the camera tutorial in particular needs work. I have an iPhone 5 as well, and feel these phones are running neck and neck. Each has its unique strengths, so you may want to look at the iPhone as well. But if Android is your choice, there's no question. HTC One is the ONE.

Simply put this phone is a step above in quality over anything else out there. I own a GS3 and intended to get the GS4 all along. I tried this phone out time and time again and loved how it felt and looked and most importantly worked. Still, like so many others I was just going to stick with what I knew and get the newest version of my current phone. In my case this was the GS4.
I never bought the GS4. Why didn't I get the GS4? Drive down to your local electronics store and carefully caress the HTC One in your hand. You will experience a feeling drivers must get when driving a Ferrari. The phone is significantly superior to the GS4. The One qualifies as a wonderful work of modern design and function in one skinny little package. The One is the exquisite result of a motivated and inspired corporation. HTC swung for the fences and hit an upper deck home run!
I believe consumers should reward companies who take risks and succeed so greatly. We must reward businesses for producing superior products or else we risk kicking the free market squarely in the shins.
Bravo to HTC for making the best cell phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by amallen330 Amazing product
This is just an amazing phone! The only phone that could compare is the GS4 and the only things it has above is features. But many of those I would never use. HTC has really made a comeback. The sleekness still surprises me after getting it a couple days after the release. Sound quality is stunning! The camera is amazing except when you zoom in, that's where megapixels come in. Or should i say "ultra-pixels." One thing I can say is WOW. This product is not something you can sum up in words. You would just have to see it for yourself. And to HTC, I understand the whole 4.2.2 update thing, its not much of a difference, and your carrier will only allow you to update so many times, or it would be like getting a new phone. Either way it's a good decision to wait for key lime pie, or 4.3. Whichever comes out next. And in the end , I'm still thinking....... WOW!!!

Love this phone, its easy to get used to coming from iphones. Makes me feel like apple should just quit. The feel is great, the screen is amazing. I was debating between a galaxy s4 and this, sooo glad i picked the one. this phone has a great layout to it and its probably the best for everyday use. Blinkfeed turned out to be very useful and i enjoy using it, i actually thought i would hate it. the camera is probably the only thing i didnt really like about the phone, its not sharp enough. well also the fact that the preciseness of the parts for the phone isnt very good. the sim card opening, head phone jack, ad charging port all look like someone cut them with a knife and didnt sand it properly. theres also a small gap on the top. if u can get over this negative aspect and look at the overall picture, then you will not regret getting this device.

My husband and I are devoted to HTC. Best android phones! I recently purchased the HTC ONE and it's amazing. My husband has the HTC EVO 4G LTE, really good phone (as all HTC products) but the HTC ONE is awesome and now he wants one. Easy to use, camera is top notch, quality pictures...Zoe is awesome! Boom speakers really are stereo quality, it's like a mini stereo system. Android really does kill IPHONE especially with this great HTC ONE!!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by techyaccountant Best phone ever.. And I get a new phone every 6 months....
I have had every iPhone and a few android phones. I have also had two windows phones too. I can not be happier that HTC has manufactured one of the best phones out there. This HTC One by far surpasses the iPhone 5 and I doubt the 5S will be be better. They have slacked, but I was losing faith for android phones, until this badboy came out. Love every little thing about it. I do feel like there is a better battery technology out there for mobile phones, yet I'm sure phone manufacturers are keeping that to themselves as long as they can, its just like car makers, they don't put every bit of their "best" and "up to date" technology out there in their new model, they spread it out. Anyways, I have been through many phones and love this one more than any previous phones. Thanks HTC!

First, Let me say that I have been an HTC customer since the original HTC EVO. That phone was great, sans battery life. Next I upgraded to the HTC EVO 3D. Neat phone and the 3D was a cool feature but not very practical as the 3D could only be shared with another 3D EVO. Battery life was still just ok. Gave the EVO to my daughter who used it up until a few months ago and gave the 3D to my wife so I could get the EVO 4G LTE last summer. Impressive phone but unfortunately Sprint didn't have 4G so I was never really able to see the phone perform.
Two weeks ago, I upgraded the EVO 4G to the ONE. Here's my review:
The design and quality of the phone is by far it's biggest feature. Sitting beside the Samsung Galaxy S4, it looks like it is in a class by itself. The fit is incredible.
The sound is by far the best of any mobile device. There have been stereo attempts by phone manufacturers before but nothing like this. Not on the quality of say a Jambox but enough that you actually find yourself turning the volume down so you don't offend someone around you with the loud music or movie audio.
The screen and graphics quality are truly impressive. Definitely easy on the eyes.
The performance is great. Apps pop and are snappy.
What would have made the phone perfect:
The buttons (the physical volume and on/off buttons) are awkward. It is a little hard to find the volume buttons without looking. And the power button is hard to reach if your using one hand to use the phone.
Could HTC have used the 1.9 GHz processor found in similar new phones instead of the slightly slower 1.7 GHz processor.
Blinkfeed in Sense 5.0 needs to be a widget instead of a complete home screen. For those of us moving from previous HTC devices running Sense, we are left with only 4 screens to use what on our old phone used 5 screens if we don't like Blinkfeed and want to use our own home-screen.
The phone is still the best all around phone on the market today. And HTC has set the bar really high for new phones and future phones. Plastic just won't get it anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by frolan Best Android Phone I've used
The HTC One is the best Android phone I’ve ever used and the one I would recommend to others. I think the hardware is the most satisfying part of the device because it is significantly better than any other Android phone and details like the aluminum finish and excellent display make me feel like my money was well spent.
• Aluminum construction: The all-metal construction makes it feel excellent in your hand and assures you that you did indeed purchase a premium device.
• “Boom Sound: The One has the best speakers of any mobile device I’ve ever had (phone, tablet, laptop). Once you’ve used them, no other mobile speakers are comparable for volume and clarity. When used in landscape mode they create a stereo effect that adds to the quality of the viewing experience. Boom Sound and the excellent display have quickly made the One my favorite device to watch any type of media.
• Display: Clear, color accurate and bright. A clear and accurate display are very important to me because when I purchase a flagship device I expect to get the best quality; the oversaturated colors of an AMOLED display do not appear high quality to me.
• “Ultra Pixel Camera: Larger pixels are more sensitive to light and allow you to get better low light performance, which makes the One a great tool for documenting happy hours, indoor parties or the night out. One of the new camera features that HTC has added is the ZOE mode, it captures a few seconds of video each time you press the shutter and allows you to either pick the best shot or combine them to document an action shot (ex: a friend jumping his BMX bike).
As with every device, there are some things that are annoying, however I don’t think any of them are a deal breaker.
• The device gets warm during medium usage.
• Too large to safely use in one hand
• Missing a capacitive “menu button: you still have to search for the on screen menu button (location varies between different apps, which detracts from a consistent user experience) or you lose some screen real estate on the bottom edge b/c HTC has added a persistent menu button along the bottom edge.
• Power button is difficult to press

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Trampler I love this phone. Im glad i did my research.
I'm glad I did my research before purchasing this phone. I got this phone around mothers day and the reason I remember this, is because I was supposed to be getting the galaxy s4 for mothers day as a gift, and it was SOLD OUT. I was extremely upset, but now, looking back, I'm glad it was, because I went home n researched the galaxy s4, and the iPhone because I thought about getting that phone instead since it was in stock, and so popular. Well,...every review I saw said gala y s4 vs iPhone vs HTC 1..... So, I was like,...well what's this HTC 1? I've never heard of it.....did a little more digging and found out about all it's features and the quality of the camera, and 1080p screen,...and was hooked. Took me many tmobile retailers to find one that sold it, but I did, and I never looked back.

I'll keep this as short as I can. Let's mention the flaws now. The 3 things that stop this from being the absolutely best phone ever built is:
1. You cannot remove Blinkfeed. You can disable it and make another page your home screen, but Blinkfeed, even though disabled, still takes up 1 out of 5 pages. Rendering that page useless. Unless you like Blinkfeed.
2. The somewhat awkward way you have to add apps to your page. There is a specific way you have to do it which takes some getting use to. I won't go into details for the sake of text space, but you can Google it.
3. Even though it takes excellent photos in low light and even daylight, any type of zooming leaves the photo distorted and digitized. Also, I've found out that when using Zoe mode for the animated photos. When you view them on your phone it's one photo, but if you have your photos backed up in Dropbox it's 22 separate photos. Which can be a pain to filter through, choose and delete.
Besides that, it is wonderful. Everything good you've read about it, it is.... And the most surprising thing I've noticed is that the battery is beyond excellent. It can last up to 13 with heavy use. Music, YouTube, movies, talking, texting, photos, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, navigation, Google Now and social networking. I have a screenshot of my HTC One after 19 hours of use. YES, 19 hours! I took a screenshot right before I went to bed. My battery life was at 48%. Now, I know not everyone will have this result, but as for me. The only time I got my phone to die before I went to bed is, when I did the torture for the first 3 days. You fully charge your phone, turn all services and features on as described above with heavy use, and test how long it takes for the battery to die. Then fully charge and repeat 2 more times. For me, this also programs the battery life for any electronic with a Lithium Ion battery.
Yeah there are competitors in the same league, but they aren't doing it as well or with as much style.
All in all, I love my HTC One. Sense runs perfect. There aren't any glitches or lags. It's just and excellent phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SemperFi Switched from iPhone 4s to HTC One
Switched from IOS to Android, I have to say after being on IOS for almost two years i got tired of the software apple was offering it was to boring. So i switched to the new HTC One i have to say after being on android for more than two days i have to say i love this phone the build quality is superior. Sound is astonishing, Camera is more than average low light shots are amazing. Battery life is alright it lasted me more than ten hours on my first charge. I got the unlock version 32GB Currently I have 18GBs Left I have Couple apps on this and Four Full HD movies (Scarface, Home alone, I am legend, Goodfellas) HD Screen looks amazing as if am watching a movie on my 42" LED HDTV.
Pros- Full HD Screen, Ultra Pixel Camera, Sound/Beats Audio, LTE. And last build quality.
between pros and cons- Battery.
Cons- I really couldn't find something i hate about this phone except one thing, BLINK FEED.
I would recommend any iPhone user on switching to the new HTC One; Unless apple made an iPhone worth owning such as having a high resolution screen and at least more than a 4.5 inch screen and a faster and more energy/battery efficient software/battery.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Raiden2332 This phone is as billed
At this risk of this sounding like a canned review, i seriously cannot recommend this phone enough. The battery issues that people seem to throw around are easily overblown. I have gotten roughly 20 hours of battery life per charge, and that includes a healthy dose of netflix and music listening. The screen is fantastic, even with my anti-glare screen protector. The camera is spectacular. The low-light pictures are just like i hoped. The camera itself is just marvelous. It walks that line between not too sharp and just right. I love Sense 5.0, and honestly, the BlinkFeed feature was one i was looking forward to the most. I use it frequently, although it isn't my homepage like it defaulted to. The speakers on this thing are just kickin'. The BoomSound, while given a silly name, is entirely for real. The sound is immersive. The fit and finish on this phone is also excellent, and I feel it will set the standard for Android phones from here on. The phone, while large, never feels HUGE, like it is unwieldy. It's about as big a screen as I would ever want. Enough to see anything, but not enough to make you look like you have rectangular pockets. I really can't recommend this phone highly enough. I have no regrets after buying this phone.

I was a long time supporter for Iphone! In fact, I had the first one since its original release. By far the HTC One has beat out "ALL" of my experiences with Apples Iphone. Its sleek, sophisticated, and fast. The beats audio speakers in the front, genius! I am still getting use to the different style of operations; luckily I'm a quick study. Remarkable piece of technology can not give it enough praise.

Rated 2 out of 5 So close but failing by so far
Overall I've been looking forward to this phone. Sleek design, great forward speakers, new camera tech. I prefer the larger feel and the screen is both fast and responsive. A success nearly completely.
Then we get to the issues.
This phone frequently has issues with heat control. Not burning but noticeable in pocket while it is communicating through a bluetooth or in the car.
But most importantly this phone has a known error with limited response from HTC itself in regards to the camera I've been so looking forward to. I am what is considered an intensely gentle user, and the main camera lens without a drop has cracked after less then seven days of use.
This is an issue which after a simple google search shows hundreds of dissatisfied users showing the same issue and I wish I hadn't bought this device after reading it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Acubavix Short HTC One review.
Coming from an iPhone original, getting the HTC One was epic. My parents were recommending Samsung, but those were too large for me.
The camera on this is probably the 2nd best phone camera. I wish it could do 1440p, though. And the edges/corners of pictures are distorted.
The best phone speakers, not because of Beats. Placing the speakers on the front greatly improved treble for music and voice legibility in calls. And the stereo speakers are nice, too. Bad thing is the audio steps on the volume control are too large; minimum volume is too quiet, the next volume step is too loud.
468ppi is extremely good, although nowhere near the limit of visual acuity(1479ppi). A contrast ratio of about 1700:1 is pretty low for me, I'm used to over 50000:1 on a CRT. Human eye contrast ratio exceeds 250000000:1
My HTC One's battery lasts upwards of 14 hours on good days, 10 hours average. It charges slowly, though.
Overall, this is the best phone I've had.
A few things to add if another flagship is made: remove preinstalled social stuff, increase pixel density to about 700, allow camera to record 1440p at 120FPS, and make the volume steps closer together.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by nhassan8 The only premium price phone that actually is
I don't need to waste space here saying anything about Android. Those who love it love it. Those who don't, don't.
The screen is EXACTLY as advertised. The content literally floats on the screen even if you are viewing at an insane 5 degree angle. You don't get any glaring or color fringing. Moving or vibrating the phone doesn't add the fringing to the screen that Nexus 4 does. You don't seem to feel it getting frizzled.
The only issue I had was that the first one I got had a dead pixel in it. I got it replaced for another one that had a dead spot again. The third one i got was fine. Again, I got it from T-Mobile Atlanta. Could be an issue with their stock.
It's sexy. Flat out. Unadulterated, uncontested sexy. The aluminum feels REALLY good in your hand and it's really well finished. The volume rocker is extremely accessible and the BEST thing One has is the Sleep/Wake button at the opposite side of the phone as compared to where iPhone has it. When you take it out of your pocket or pick it off a table, that is where your index finger naturally lands at.
Nothing. Literally. Nothing.
I own a DSLR with an assortment of lenses (that amounts up to $1500 in total). So I had practically fallen off my chair laughing when I heard HTC boasting what they were with the camera that they had put on One.
I am a hobbyist photographer for a very long time now and have had my share of professional exposure. With all of that, I was nothing but skeptical of whatever they had to do with the camera because from my experience, NOTHING works in low light unless it's a DSLR.
Imagine my surprise when something that was mounted on a camera started outdoing every non DSLR camera that I own. The image quality and the lens quality is surprisingly high.
In short, for something on a phone, it is AWESOME.
I have my little disagreements with Sense 5.0. Again, I own a Nexus 4 as well so that kinda weighs against this phone in places.
But overall, there are more places where Sense 5.0 actually beats Vanilla Android in ergonomics.
The camera app is very practical and the focus/exposure locking works like a charm. Haven't found that anywhere on the Nexus yet.
Let me start by saying that I HATE TouchWIZ UI of Samsung (Since I have owned that too). The only thing that HTC should learn from them is the quick buttons for stuff like brightness, WiFi, Bluetooth etc in the pull down notifications menu. You either have to go get lost in the settings or waste precious screen space with a widget for that. That is honestly the ONLY thing that has annoyed me.
IN CASE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO READ IN DETAIL. READ THIS -> IT IS AWESOME

I upgraded from an HTC DNA which I have to say was a complete failure of a phone. I am so glad to see that HTC has embraced the one phone concept, and would recommend this phone to ANYONE. Rated 5 out of 5Â by PriyankC One phone to rule them all!
I have used the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, and iPhone 5. However Apple and Samsung market their products, they lag nonetheless. But HTC One is one phone that just refuses to lag! I kept trying one of the most memory intensive games and apps open but still the One functions smoothly as I could ever imagine. The Camera is good enough for me, especially at night when other phone cameras(except for Lumia 1020) fail. In terms of sound quality and design, no phone in the world comes near to this. It feels no other phones was tested keeping in mind that it is going to be used in human hands. I am privileged to have this phone. If HTC will keep making these kind of phones, I'm sure it's stocks will perform very well.

The feel of the phone is outstanding. Sometimes I just pick up the phone just to hold it. HTC One over everything ! Also this phone is pretty fast and call quality is good, drops calls sometimes though.
