Having been on a Samsung Device for about two years....it took some time to adapt to the change. Boy! what a change it has been...simply amazing!!.Definitely the best from HTC yet. If you can afford the phone, there is nothing in the Android stables that can match it at the moment.
Just go for it...!!!!!!!

This phone is an awesome device. It feels right to hold and use it. The Metal body look elegant and exclusive. The display, the voice clarity, the dual speakers are the best and unlike any other phone that I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by raunaqk253 HTC's finest
Definitely HTC's best phone yet, it's a quality handset, without any of those annoying issues like lag or death grips or subpar battery life that some older phones have suffered from
Coming from a One X and an 8X, it feels really nice to go back to a full metal phone, it just feels really good to hold, fits well in the hand (would've preferred a slightly smaller body, perhaps with a 4.3" screen) and it's heavier than those polycarbonate phones but it feels quite sturdy and not too slippery either.
Display : 1080p, S-LCD 3 display, it looks absolutely gorgeous, not the brightest display ever but colors are accurate and pleasant, viewing angles are amazing and it's got a ridiculously high pixel density, nearly impossible to see any pixels on this screen.
Sense 5: Sense has lost a lot of weight, Sense 5 is snappy, smooth and although it still has more bloat to get rid of, it's improved massively from Sense 3/4.
Battery Life: Not exceptional by any means, but it's better than the One X's battery, so nothing to complain about.
The dual front facing speakers (or boomsound) on the other hand are exceptional, they're loud, clear and they're facing the right way! Towards your face!
The ultrapixel camera is quite an improvement over last year's cameras, low light images are fantastic and daylight images aren't bad either. MP count isn't the only thing that determines camera quality!

One of the excellent Smartphone.
Excellent sound quality
Camera options are good (Zoe) at low light
4MP ultra pixel.(It is not giving true color at sunlight), should improve at-leat 8MP ultra pixel
Saturated with Android(taking too much power consumption). So better provide both windows and android OS's
power button a bit hard to use.
Most important from the next design. keep audio jack down the phone not on the top. Since it is hard rotate the phone while lifting the call from pocket. rotation will be required to keep the phone at year.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Anandyrh Expected more from the 'UltraPixel' Camera
Overall the phone is really brilliant... I have no single doubt or comment on the look and fell, speed, ease of use and others...
I only comment on camera that, the camera quality could have been improved much for the cost being paid for this device.
I thought the picture quality would be really good... but it did not meet my expectations. It is mentioned the HTC One Dual Sim phone has a 'UltraPixel' Camera but it is "JUST 4 MEGA PIXEL". I am really disappointed with it, at-least it should have been 12 mega pixel on this phone.
HTC ROCKS OTHERWISE :)

Design and Construction
The HTC One is built from aluminum or to be more specific it is a special alloy of aluminum whose composition is kept a secret till date. It has a dimension of 137.4mm X 68.2mm X 9.3mm/4mm (Max/Min). Even though the phone is made of metal it only weighs 143 grams along with the battery. Like the company boasts it has zero gap, unibody chassis with poly carbonate being injected within the aluminum chassis. I must say HTC has pushed its R&D department to the fullest for the development of such a unique body. This is definitely a blow to major companies like Samsung and Apple who have failed to blow me with amazing designs.
The front of the phone has the beautiful 4.7 display and to compliment it the phone features the amazing dual speakers which has been given the name of BoomSound speakers by HTC along with the sensors and the ultra wide angle front facing camera. The rear part of the phone boasts the 4MP UltraPixel camera with a LED flash along with a mic which is one of the two mic’s featured on this phone. The white lines as one can see in the pictures play a unique role in the aesthetics of the phone. The top of the phone hosts a 3.5mm headphone jack and the power button which doubles up as an IR blaster while the micro USB port along with the second mic is located below. The micro SIM slot is on the left whereas the volume buttons are on the right.
HTC certainly has taken a risk moving from their original 3 button layout to the current 2 button layout. Though it might seem foolish but certainly for me it is thing of the past and I haven’t faced any problem. Although I would have been the cheery on the cake if we could use the HTC logo in the centre as button too.
The HTC One is powered by a 1.7GHz QuadCore Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU along with 2GB of RAM. The RAM is a DDR2 RAM and I wished it was DDR3 even though it wouldn’t make any noticeable difference. All the fuel to run this beast comes from a 2300 mAh non removable battery.
HTC was the first manufacturer to bring 1080p display with the HTC Butterfly and once again HTC has taken it a step ahead by cramping 1080p resolution into a 4.7 display. The advantage of this it that the HTC One has the highest pixel per inch density of 468 which blows away all its competitors. Although the human eyes cannot distinguish beyond the 360ppi mark, it certainly is a number which fellow One users can boast of.
The phone is available in the 32GB and the 64GB variants with no support for external SD cards. Astonishingly the Chinese variant of the HTC One does have a micro SD card slot but at the cost of zero gap construction.
When it comes to connectivity, the One has a 3.5mm stereo audio jack along with NFC and is a common feature among all the flagships. Moreover it has Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled which will help in low power - high performance bluetooth capabilities. One of the striking features comes from the Wi-Fi department with support for a and ac bands which will let you make use of faster Wi-Fi networks when available. Thus the HTC One supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n.
The One also has a IR Blaster ( Yes ! You heard it right ) along with DLNA and a micro USB 2.0 (5 pin) port.
In the sensors department the One is packed with all the regular sensors like Gyro sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor along with Optical Image Stabilization.
The HTC One comes pre installed with android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean along with Sense 5 as OEM skin. There are rumors that the the 4.2.2 update is somewhere around the corner and might soon arrive. HTC definitely has given thoughts to earlier criticism of Sense UI being heavy and I must say the UI continues to remain pleasant to the eyes without being a burden. The icons have a flatter look and thus has a much cleaner appearance. The original flip clock is replaced with a digital one, though the original flip clock is only a few touches away.
The One has a total of 5 home screens out of which one is permanently used for BlinkFeed, thus the user is left with 4 home screens. In one of the survey’s HTC found that a majority of the people never use more than 3 screens and therefore it makes sense in HTC’s decision of providing 4. Currently there is no option to turn of BlinkFeed which would had made space for the 5th home screen.
The app drawer has been completely revamped with a clock on the top and now you can scroll through all your apps vertically instead of horizontal scrolling found in Sense 4.0 devices. The app drawer now has the ability to create folders within which will help organize all your apps better.
The lock screen has also undergone major visual changes with introduction of a small lock icon which needs to be dragged up instead of the tradition ring. The shortcuts on the lock screen continue to be the same as that in the dock like in Sense 4.0
One more noticeable change has been in the fonts department where HTC used Roboto Condensed instead of Roboto as its system font.
One of the most shocking news was when HTC said that they would be going against the tradition of upgrading the number of megapixels in the One. But things became much more clearer with the announcement of the UltraPixel camera. To explain it in simple terms, HTC increased size of the cells in the sensor. As a result of this, these bigger cells can absorb more information which in this case is light, producing better color reproduction and the best in class low light images. A traditional 13MP camera sensor has a cell of 1.1 micro meter whereas the one in the UltraPixel camera has a size of 2 micro meter. According to HTC, this improved sensor when paired with HTC’s very own ImageSense 2 chip can absorb 300% more light and hence the exceptional low light imaging. But the improved size of the cell does have downside which is why HTC had to use a 4MP sensor to fit it all within the tiny frame.
After the Windows Phone 8X by HTC and the HTC Butterfly, HTC continued with its 2.1MP ultra wide angle front facing camera. This ensures that you can get all your family members in single frame while video calling.
One more thing HTC has improved is the flash. We often remember images to be destroyed because of the harsh light produced by LED flash. So what the phone does is it first flashes a sample beam to analyze the distance between the subject and the camera and the second flash is the final flash with appropriate amount of light so as to provide adequate lighting.
HTC did a great job by including Optical Image Stabilization in the One. Like Nokia says in its commercial: No more shaky videos. Currently HTC One is the only Android phone with OIS.
The first time when you turn on the phone beware of the volume of the boot sound because this thing will blow you off. The amazing BoomSound speakers in the front will definitely make you think as to why anyone never thought of it before. The BoomSound speakers consists of two stereo speakers with dedicated amplifiers. When paired with Beats Audio, it provides the best in class, distortion free replication of all your media. With the HTC One, one thing is for sure that you will no longer need those hands for cupping the speaker while watching a video on YouTube with your friends. To make things even merrier the headphone jack also comes with a dedicated amplifier and is paired with Beats Audio.
The 1080p display along with the amazing speakers team up to form a personal entertainment system which you can carry along with you wherever you go.
HTC has also included FM radio for all the radio lovers out there.
The HTC One has an impressive battery life considering the fact that it has a 2300mAh battery. If we put it together then,
For heavy users - Slightly less than a day i.e about 18 to 20 hours.
For moderate users - More than a day i.e about 38 to 40 hours.
For light users - Two days.
Add On Features
This is like a highly improved version of Flipboard which is inspired by the tiles layout found in Windows Phone OS. It has a huge list of content sources from which you can choose and is presented in a neat manner. It comes in handy when waiting for a bus or you can just scroll through it just because you can.
This is a camera feature which utilizes the ImageSense 2 chip to the fullest by recording a Full HD video and 30 frames of high resolution images both at the same time for 3 seconds. This feature comes in handy when clicking photos of subjects that are in motion like kids or pets.
This is a new addition to the stock music app on the HTC One. The phone when connected to Wi-Fi fetches the lyrics of all your music from its servers and is then presented to you in a very beautiful way so that you can sing along the song with your friends.
This is your personalized TV content manager which reminds you of show timings and other stuff. But the major feature of this app is that it uses the IR blaster in the phone to control you television, DTH Set Top Box, Audio System, DVD and all other appliances which have an IR remote.
Setting up the device is a piece of cake and you can go around the town switching channels on TV’s whenever you see one.
Apart from these the phone offers a number of camera tricks such as Sequence Shot which is similar to Action Shot, remove people from the background, always smile and also eyes open.
All this features can be used by either taking a Zoe or Burst Mode photos.
The HTC One has definitely set new standards for smartphone designs and has also gone against conventional paths. If you are due for an update or are in search of a new phone then you must definitely go for this amazing piece of technology. Like the company says, the HTC One is indeed ‘ Everything your phone isn’t ‘.

first of all.. talking about HTC One.. first things that attract u are the LOOK, FEEL and BUILD QUALITY of this gadget!
Htc managed such INSANE features on it.. it fits perfectly in the hand, the curved back, the polished aluminium finish, the chamfering on the edges, perfctly drilled holes on the front for the speakers.. all of these drive u to fall in love wit this phone!
And the ONE is a beast INSIDE too.. its extremely quick! crisp and extraordinary screen stands out.. best display! good outdoor visibility! the brightness extremities should have been lower nd higher as compared to the iPhone!
Boom speakers stand out too.. the so called 'BOOM Sound' is magnificent.. Camera does excellent work too.. but the pixel count should have been more.. it would have given even more detail with even more Awsome picture quality! anyways the ultra pixel cam is upto the mark and is superb!
i surely, sincerely and seriously suggest this phone!!
extreme fun with this beast!! :D hold it nd u wil feel all its magic in sec's! :D

Rated 5 out of 5Â by umangpilot The Best Touchscreen Phone with amazing features
I have been using the HTC ONE for a week now and so far it's been great. I love the white matte plastic that surrounds the phone which looks really good and contrast well with the aluminum. The forward facing speakers have only gotten compliments so far from my friends and relatives. The 4.7 inches of the HTC ONE in my opinion the ideal screen size for those who love big screen devices.
Of all the smart phones I have used till now the HTC One has longest and best battery life. I use my phone all the time for various activities browsing social media sites, watching youtube videos and playing online games but I still have half my battery in the evening which is so cool. Also the UltraPixel camera makes the low light pictures more clear which was not possible earlier.
Overall the HTC ONE is value for money phone which has so many new features as compared to iphone and samsung.

I have been using the HTC One X before HTC One .Believe me this phone is definitely a notch above it.I am so impressed by this phone.Let me detail each of its features in detail:
CAMERA: The camera on this phone in spite of being a 4 MP is a first of its kind.It an ultrapixel camera which is equal to a 12MP camera. The photos captured by the camera are crisp and clear even in low light settings. Also the Zoe feature just adds zing to it.
SOUND: The HTC One comes with Boom Sound which is a one of its kind. Its dual front keepers provide you with dynamic, loud and clear sound. The sound from the speakers have no distortion at all despite of being loud. Moreover, it comes with Beats Audio which is a class in itself.
SCREEN/DISPLAY : The screen of the phone is simply brilliant. It has one of the pest densities available today. It has great viewing angles and the contrast ratio is also good. The screen would really want you to have look at it again and again.
SOFTWARE/SENSE: The phone comes equipped with Sense 5 which is a customized version of Andorid. Sense 5 is buttery smooth and does not hang at all. It comes with Blinkfeed feature which is a special feature which enables you to view all your social updates and news at one place in a convenient way.
BATTERY LIFE: The battery life of the phone is decent for a 4.7 inch screen. Its enough to get you through a day with a lot of web browsing, games, calls and texts.
LOOK/FEEL: The phone's aluminum unibody design makes it as aesthetically more appealing. The phone feels great in hands and it really stands out.
I would really buying this phone.
