Great phone all around. Heard there's a firmware update to increase the battery life, which would be wonderful!
However, please make hold or double tap Back button the Menu key. It's such a beautiful phone, but why take a step backwards with the ugly and wasted screen real estate in order for Apps to show the Menu bar. This is just ridiculous! Please fix it HTC!

After coming from a S2 this is definitely an improvement in terms of screen. The processor I could care less anyway quad core is a bit overkill, my S2 dual core could handle everything I did, but I'm not going to complain because it's something I could make use in the near future. Battery life is surprisingly good for a HTC, its not my S2 battery were it could last me the whole day playing bike race but it definitely is an improvement from my previous HTC (Desire) All in all, I would buy another one for another family member or friend.

Let start with how impressive and smooth the startup / initialization end up being! I launched the HTC transfer tool on my old Samsung and wallah -- my wallpapers, settings, contacts, etc all were transferred wirelessly -- even when my old phone was in the other room. Then it started self installing my old apps! Long gone the days where you had to manually edit all your contacts from different sources -- it found duplicates and merged missing info into one single contact. Then it asked if you want to delete old info. At the end of 2-3 hrs (i lost track) of playing with my sexy toy, I was able to program the built-in remote app to control my cable channels AND TV!!! Pretty cool.
When I do demos on the cool built-in apps (like i work for them), mouths are left open..especially with zoe...lol

The Perfect One. PERIOD.
Well the first line sums up pretty much everything about the phone. This is the first smartphone seemed worth buying after iPhone. My God! It makes iPhone just an ordinary phone in all aspects. Lightening fast speed, premium design, best sound quality ever, on a phone! What else do u need to make a phone perfect!. Buy it. NOW!

Great phone. Fast, simple, full of features and highly recommended.
Very bright & clear screen. Aluminum construction is nice and premium.
Problem is build quality!! Slight gaps at the top & bottom, between speaker grills & the back (not Zero Gap!!) and a slightly raised screen.
Also, Dropbox gives you 23 Gb for the HTC One, not 25 Gb as advertised.
