The camera, the design, the display are just amazing. Few negatives that I have observed over the last 11 months:
1. The photos seem so vivid and colorful on the phone but doesn't look the same when transferred - reason being the phone's display make the photos look breath-taking but actually they are just good/excellent.
2. Turn off Google Now/Search, location services and your battery life would definitely increase by 20% atleast - these apps/services do a check every minute or so, which keep on draining battery even though you might not be using it.
3. It does heat up when i play graphics-intensive games on it - be realistic guys, even laptops get heated up and need a cooling fan.
4. I found 16 GB internal storage a little less and having a lot of apps can slowdown your phone - take backup of everything possible and only keep recent/important stuff.
All phones available in the market have some drawbacks, find a phone whose drawbacks you can live with. No perfect phone out there.
iPhone users: try this phone (or similar android phones) and have a little patience initially. This phone assumes you are smart too so try to learn how it works and you won't be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 wish i never bought it
After about 5 months this phone got so many problems. Short battery life, over heated to the point of where i would have to put it in the refrigerator for about 10-20 minutes, the phone doesn't seem to do what a phone should do so now i just use my ipod for texting while my least favorite phone i ever had sits on a shelf in shame. i highly recommend NOT to buy the phone unless you want to waste quite a lot of money.

Sadly, I'm forced to replace my Incredible with a Samsung - so it will be at least 2 years before I get to consider an HTC phone again... I would prefer a One X, but Verizon doesn't have an HTC phone that rivals the big phones on the market.

Looks: One word - Stunning! The first impression is fantastic. The One X scores full marks in the looks department.
Build Quality and Design: Again, fantastic! The phone feels so good in your hands. It is very sleek and ultra light. All the HTC phones I've owned were pretty heavy. The One X is as light as the Galaxy S2. A huge plus!
Battery Life: Battery life is one area I've had issues with HTC in the past. But the One X's battery surprised me. I am able to get around 24 hours on a single charge with moderate usage. Not bad.
Performance: The AT&T One X features a dual core processor, the Snapdragon S4, running at 1.5 GHz. It is super fast. I haven't experienced a single lag. The apps load pretty quickly, and switching from one app to the next hardly takes any time. The S4 is one of the fastest processors out there and browsing through the phone is a pleasurable experience.
Display: The screen is one of the high points of the phone. At 4.7", the clarity is superb, the video crisp and rich in colors. Watching a video is a treat on this display.
Sound: Sound is another department I had problem with HTC in the past. Especially the loud speaker. The sound used to be very low. Not anymore! The One X has loud sound on the speaker. And when you put on your headphones, the One X, coupled with beats audio, produces great sound quality.
Sense 4.0: This is the best version of sense to date! I've always been a fan of sense. With sense 4.0, they've removed some unnecessary stuff and added some other useful features and it is better than ever before. The layout is very smooth. It feels great. They've also included a swype like feature with the keyboard, meaning there's no need for a 3rd party app now.
Camera: The camera of One X needs a separate mention. It is truly outstanding! It is capable of taking some breathtaking photos! The camera on this device can act as a standalone camera. Some of the best 12 and 14 MP point and shoot cameras are not nearly as good as the camera on this phone. I can say for sure that I'm not carrying a separate camera with the One X in my pocket.
All in all, this is a masterpiece. If you're looking for an Android phone which covers all your needs, look no further. One X is your answer.

First off let me say that I ditched my iphone 4 for this. I am using at&t. I feel kind of cheated with the US model vs. the UK model. They have more storage space and a quad core processor...I somethimes wonder what HTC was thinking with this being their "flagship" model. I would have liked to see the quad core and larger storage on the US model. I am still loving this phone and it's performace with has been thus far a much better experience than my iphone. Apps open quickly and the internet is blazingly fast as I get LTE in my area. I mainly use WIFI in my home. Camera and video quality are also much more superierior. For anyone wanting a Droid experience should experience it with HTC..... I highly reccomend this device to anyone. I chose the charcoal grey unit and had a zagg invisible shield installed and am using a casemate tough case an the phone is still light and the case adds that extra grip needed. I installled the ice cream sandwich keyboard because it was hard to get used to the factory one being the space key was too small. The one I downloaded looks like the iphone keyboard which I really liked.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by KaiB Mobile Communicator done righ!
I have been an HTC User for probably the last ten years. As this has nothing to do with HTC as a brand (they only started branding their a couple years ago) it does tell you a lot about their products – they simply outperformed all other Products each time I was shopping for a new Device. As it goes, I had to make a similar decision quite recently – and landed with HTC once more.
The most important Feature for me is Usability. Thanks to Sense HTC shines in this Area. I have yet to see another Solution that is able to Integrate numerous Source into a single (Friend-) Stream and connect it even further to the Phones Contacts and several other Programs (like showing you the latest Message of the Person you are calling). It makes your mobile Life just so much easier, keeping you from messing around in several Applications that I do not want to miss this! And while these Features were already available in prior Versions of Sense, it got even better with Sense 4.0: Google Tasks are now available, Dropbox is integrated, Lock-Screens can be customized – the only thing missing is Google+.
Apart from Sense, the Hardware itself is also amazing. The Camera is by far the best I have ever seen in I Phone. Pictures are crisp and clear and taking them using the new Camera-App is a lot of fun (thanks to the Burst-Feature). This is the first time that I am actually considering a Phone-integrated Camera to replace a Point-and-Shoot! Speaking of crisp and clear: The Display is so brilliant that even after a couple weeks of usage I still catch myself starring at it in disbelieve.
One major concern with most people seems to be the lack of a replaceable battery. From what I can tell so far this seems to be not a problem at all. I get almost double the life out of this devices battery than I ever got from my previous Phone (Aria) – with regular usage I can take it to the road for two straight days without having to charge or worrying about running out of Power. No other Phone was ever able to do that for me. From what I understand HTC decided to go with a non-replaceable battery so they could make the casing thinner and lighter. They seem to have reached their goal as this device is just amazingly light (and thin) – and having it sitting in your palm feels really natural.
Great job HTC, once again!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Popfly The HTC One X is a bundle of fun! The more I use it, the more I like it.
I waited to get what I thought was a good Android Ice Cream Sandwich phone, and found it in the HTC One X. It is the total package of quality, WOW factor, and fun.
Very high quality build/feel/look. Nice looking.
Big, beautiful screen.
Interface, once learned, is very useable and configurable.
Easily transferred all old contacts/calendars from iPhone/Google..
Great camera with many features.
Very good battery life (lasts all day and more with heavy use and two days with brightness set to medium and usual usage).
Very fast. (forget the quad core hangup, the Snapdragon processor, well... snaps)
LTE capable. (soon in Seattle)
All the apps I used for previous phone (a very popular non-Android device) I'm able to get for my HTC One X, except for one bridge scorepad app.
Love the Dropbox feature for cloud storage. Laments about the on board memory aren't a factor for me, and the Dropbox cloud storage is a definite plus.
Fun to use, and makes you smile when you do use it. It impresses your friends too.
Lightweight, easy to hold and use.
Love the wi-fi hot spot capability, which I elected to add.
Speech recognition is fabulous. Instead of trying to type notes, I dictate them. It's incredibly fast and accurate.
Face recognition is very nice. I use it all the time.
Learning curve. Have to get used to this device and the Android system, but once the different interface is learned, it's great.
Ear buds are not provided for audio jack.
Hearing aid setting causes the call hearing to become non-functional.

This is my 3rd HTC phone, the first one (forget the name) wasn't very good, but my 2nd phone the HTC Aria was a work horse and survived being dropped many times.
I'm still getting used the size of the One X coming from the tiny Aria, but this phone is by far the best phone I had! All the apps that I've had on my Aria work even better on the One X.
You definately won't regret investing your hard earned money on this phone!

I've been a die hard Verizon-Motorola fan since the Droid 1 then the droid 2 then the Droid 3 and then finally the Droid Razr... But I've always secretly fancied HTC's Sense UI on other phones just never had the chance to truely appreciate it until now. Especially on Android 4.0 coupled with this phone- it's truely amazing. I thought the AMOLED on the Razr was lightyears ahead of competition- wait till you see the screen on this badboy. It's also definitely one of the quickest phones I've used so far. Like Apple, I think HTC spends a little more time thinking out, developing, and supporting their phones whereas it seems Motorola is popping out a new Droid every 2 weeks to the point where they are all kinda just... the same. This phone is very unique and thus I think it will hold its ground for quite some time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by cweldon An amazing HTC Product
First, let me say that I am a cell phone geek. Previous to AT&T, I was a hardcore T-Mobile user simply because I could swap sim cards and the data plan was amazing.
Previous phones : All lines of the Blackberry, HTC Touch & Touch 2, Sidekicks, Iphone 3, 4, and 4s, Samsung Captivate
This phone is Amazing! The display does not wash out in the sunlight. The 1,5 processor is exteremly fast! I have found that I need to turn off the WiFi in public areas since the 4G is faster than most "public wifi's" (which throtle the speeds).
Customization is the core and this phone allows it. It connected to my exchange accout flawlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by cephoto Best Phone I've Ever Used!
The One X is beautifully designed. Despite the 4.7-inch screen, the phone doesn't feel much larger in-hand than my previous phone, an HTC Inspire 4G. This is mainly due to the light weight and thinness of the phone. At just 0.35-inches thick, the One X is one of the thinnest phones available. Even with the increase of size, the One X keeps the weight down weighing just 4.6-oz, only about 80-percent of the weight of the Inspire. This makes the phone very comfortable to hold in your hand or to keep in a pocket. The decrease in weight and thickness doesn't make the phone feel cheap by any means. The phone feels very solid and well constructed. Covering nearly all of the front of the device is the 4.7-inch 720p HD super LCD display made with Corning Gorilla Glass. This very well may be the best screen I've ever seen on a mobile device. The colors are crisp, saturated, and above all accurate. Photos and words can't do the display justice, it really needs to be seen in person to be appreciated.
The One X doesn't just look the part either. It packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU and 1GB DDR2 RAM. This adds up to a very smooth and fluid experience while still maintaining great battery life and without heating the phone up too much. The phone includes more sensors then you'll know what to do with. A digital compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer and ambient light sensor are all nestled somewhere inside the device. Unfortunately packing all these parts into such a thin frame means some compromises have to be made. The most notable of these is the lack of a removable SD card. HTC remedies the situation by including 16GB of internal storage and 25GB of Dropbox storage for two years. Supplemented with cloud storage from Google, Amazon, SkyDrive, Box, and many others, you won't have a need for more storage on your One X. Another necessity was the inclusion of an embedded battery, but a rating of 1800mAh means you won't need to swap out batteries on the fly because this one can last to three to four days if you need it to.
These days, one of the most important parts of a phone to many people is the camera, and the One X doesn't disappoint. The rear facing camera is an 8MP shooter with a single LED flash. The backside illumination sensor provides great low-light performance. All image processing is done on its own dedicated imaging chip shortening processing time and allowing you to take photos near instantly. Video recording can be done at a variety of resolutions and frame rates from 1080p to slow motion 768x432 video. Recording is complete with stereo sound and image stabilization. The front facing camera shoots 1.3MP stills and is capable of 720p video for video chatting or recording.
In a day and age where storage and computing is moving to the cloud, being able to access those files from wherever you may be is becoming increasingly important. Thanks to AT&T's 4G LTE network, that's no problem. The One X gets marginally better reception than my Inspire did in the same places, and I have 4G coverage nearly everywhere I go during a typical day. Upload and download speeds over the network are extremely fast. If you aren't lucky enough to be getting 4G speeds, the One X includes a 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi radio and Wi-Fi direct compatibility, which allows devices to connect to each other with no need for a wireless access point. Also included are Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. I think NFC will be a real asset as technology moves forward and not enough phones today have it, although the One X will be future proof on this front.
I am usually a proponent of the stock Android OS. Although HTC's Sense UI has always been better than Motoblur, Touchwiz and the like I felt as though Sense had grown to be a little cumbersome and bloaty. Sense 4.0 however is a step back in the right direction. I'm not sure if I like the stock 4.0 ICS or HTC's Sense 4.0 UI more. Sense 4.0 looks great and adds some functionality to Android without slowing it down and adding unnecessary features. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of what AT&T has done, loading the phone with plenty of bloatware. Although none of it can be uninstalled, most of it can be disabled. Although a bit gimmicky, the Beats Audio inclusion does provide a nice set of EQ presets for listening to music through headphones, the phones speaker, or through a full size stereo.
The HTC One X is probably the best phone I've ever had the pleasure to use, and easily the best I've ever owned. It delivers on every front including the best screen I've seen on a mobile device, a great camera, and amazing battery life. Where it falls short, bloatware and no SD card, is easily remedied the ability to disable apps and cloud storage. This truly is an amazing phone. While writing this I really had to try to find something I didn't like about the phone, and I couldn't really come up with anything.

This phones is fantastic. I have been on apples iPhone and iOS for many years now and was reluctant to make the switch. My last iPhone was recently stolen so I had to get a new phone and the timing couldn't have been better. The first day was tough for me because I was getting used to android os but after the learning curve I quickly fell in love. I don't think I could go back to iPhone now. Even my new iPad seems boring compared to this wonderful device. The styling is killer, the screen is the perfect size and it is super fast. The camera and video are amazing for a phone, this is definitely my new favorite toy. Oh yeah and no more iTunes!

I've had my HTC One X for a little over two years now and I still love it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the sound and battery life. The sound isn't loud enough for me and the battery goes down quickly when using the internet and/or working with apps. Other than that you can do some pretty amazing things with it!! The camera/video is very good and clear. The phone itself is fast and works great!! Well worth the money I paid with my upgrade 2 years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by avgjoegeek Its a Beast All Right
I updated from a Samsung Captivate, and before that the ever-hated iPhone. Both with screens a LOT smaller than this phone.
SO over all I thoroughly love the device. It is a beast in every sense of the word.
It is very nice to not have to deal with any type of lag when opening applications.
The camera is beyond awesome. HD Video is clear and crisp. I love the "Shutter" option that allows me to finally be able to take pictures of a very mobile 2 year old!
BUT... like every review no phone is perfect.
If you have small hands the 4.7" screen might be a tad too big. I have pretty big hands (ok.. ginormous) and I still have to stretch or reach more than I would with my older phones.
Other than that? This phone has been a treat. If you can work with the large screen, the camera and over all performance of the device makes it worth it! Very happy with the purchase.
