Rated 5 out of 5Â by Obie911 Best Android Phone This Far!
This phone is a great phone. It has more than what I expected to have. It surprise me with a bunch of features like how great BEATS audio really is and how awesome the camera is. The design is sleek and beautiful and the screen resolution is the best. While browsing the web I like that when I zoom to read the letters adjust to the screen so I don't have to scroll to the right and that’s just great. Also by HTC sealing the phone is makes it feel really solid and durable. The fact that has the polycarbonate casing is a big plus since I hate the feel of cheap plastic in my hand.
The only complaint is the extended memory, but I just have to remember to get my stuff in a cloud or computer one a week and I'll be just fine with like my 20 favorites CDs'.
All in All, a super phone that I'm proud of having and or comparing to others.

It's hard to find anything bad about this phone. It is just as the ads say. The fastest phone on the planet! My 4th smart phone and by far the best. The best part is the speed of the processor. It handles anything you throw at it. If you are looking for an android that makes iPhones look like they're standing still, then this is for you. I don't usually write reviews but I am so impressed by this phone I had to. I have had mine for2months now and not one problem. Stop reading these reviews and buy it!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by tgirlnc Sooo close...but a big miss on a few things...so had to return
I wanted to love it, I really did...but I returned it. Will give the pros and cons. I HAD to get a new phone as my ATRIX 4g screen was dying fast, I was a week out from the iphone 5 launch and decided to go with the HTC one X. I have been very anti-apple for multiple reasons..so, the HTC seemed like the best choice for its features, design and speed...but it had one flaw I could not live with..so the pros: I liked how thin it was, the back and screen were superior to any other that I had seen. It is fast and the user interface is good...but...(maybe its an HTC thing...but I think the motorola Atrix 4g UI is the best I have used over the iphone, over HTC over Samsung)...so if you want a large phone and like the HTC interface despite it's shortcomings- great phone. The cons: IT IS TOO BIG!! If I were a large man, then perhaps it would be comfortable to hold, but I nearly dropped the thing a hundred times trying to hit the top button to put it in stand-by. It is just a little too big...which for me was its biggest downfall. I am not a gamer, nor do I wantch movies on my phone, I want to talk, text, surf and take pics...and had to use two hands too often..so, I returned it on size alone...so HTC, size does matter. Next con: like I said the UI- the keyboard is just plain weird..that said (I now have the iphone 5 and would take an android UI over iphone still)...if HTC were to go back to 4inch display..I would go back to being a HTC /droid customer in a second. So please HTC..make a 4inch screen one x and I will get rid of my iphone 5 stat!

Shame about the battery.Took a chance & decided to get the One X over the iPhone(yes I'm one of those)& was happy until I started checking out & using all the great features. The battery let's the phone down big time!A few phone calls, pics, watching videos & playing with apps will have you raging if you forgot to pack your charger!!!Good news though(if you haven't just signed up for a new 10 year network contract.Lol.)HTC have announced the new & improved HTC One X+(PS3 compatable.Yes!!!)So keep an eye on e-bay for a four month old HTC One X.Please bid so I can afford the upgrade(or the iPhone 5)unless the promised upgrade to Jelly Bean in October improves matters!!!P.S.I don't know how that Nick guy managed to takes all those great pictures jumping out of that plane....Those marketing guys!!!!WTL.Lol...

The HTC One X from ATT is a great phone, htc sense is a great addition to ICS, Htc sense is better than any other addition to an android operating system ( Touchwiz on Samsung ). I recently switched from the Iphone 4 to the hct one x and this phone is much better than the iphone, it is easier for me to use, you can do alot more stuff on the One x than you can on a iphone, you can also customize the phone alot more than you can with an iphone. This phone i tell everyone they need to get. The only real problem i have with this phone is the battery life, well thats probably mostly my fault because i never put the phone down. So to wrap this review up. BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Farrell Amazing Phone With Minor Flaws
I've got to admit that the One X is an amazing phone with some minor and annoying flaws.
+ Unibody design is solid, reliable, and stays well within my palm.
+ Matte surface feels very nice to the touch.
+ The screen is just gorgeous, color is vivid and lifelike, the viewing angles for both horizontal and vertical viewing angles are 178 degrees (many thanks to the IPS panel#. The screen is also protected by Gorrilla glass, so scratchs are more preventable.
+ 8MP rear camera is fast, snappy, and it takes eye-popping quality images, plus 1080p video recording at 60 fps, AWESOME! On the other hand, the front 1.3MP acts as a high-quality webcam for video calling as well as self-potrait shootings.
+ Thanks to the fast CPU, GPU, and 1GB of RAM, the phone is running smoothly as if it's surfing the waves. No sluggish!
- 1800 mAh battery, it is embedded, and it cannot be removable. This must be a joke, since the phone itself deserves AT LEAST a 2500 mAh battery. I think it also deserves a higher capacity battery #3100 mAh# just like the one in the Samsung Galaxy S3.
- Camera len is protruding out, which can get scratched easily. In my opinion, this is a flaw which many phone accessories makers will take advantages of to produce their own products. Do I have to buy a case whenever I got myself a new phone? Give me a break!
- The storage memory is non-expandable, only 16GB #AT&T version# or 32GB #global version). Hmm, this phone can play 720p movies/tv shows/video clips, and it only have this much storage space? I was expecting it to have a SD card slot, so I could bump my 32GB sd card into the phone.
- Bloatwares, and I think this problem affects any smartphones out there as well. These software just consume lots of RAM, which I find annoying.
- Beats Audio is totally a marketing hype! It does improve your music quality, but only with an insignificant amount of bass, treble, and mid. Your music will sound louder, yes, but better? Nope. This makes me wonder how Dr.Dre can effectively convince the whole design department at HTC to install this software on to this phone. In short, you better off download a third-party music app, or invest a significant amount of money into a good headphone, which I don't recommend during this economy crisis time.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tarcisiorm The most beautiful cellphone available
Think a beautiful cellphone, that has an awesome UI (HTC Sense), its programs has the most cool animations combined with so many ways to customize it. I use an customized ROM (ViperX), that HTC allowed to use. Its animations was the most beautiful and now is ultrasmooth too (More than from the others brands), with improved customizations.
I think One X is the best UI with the most good looking programs (The Music program is just what I wanted to be!), but there still are some frameskips on menu animations and in some Polygonal games, that reaches 56fps. Another bad thing is the Battery Life. I had to buy an external recharger because it only lasts around 4h. Ok that One X+ has 2100mAh, but HTC should had though this before... A Micro SD slot would be good too. As it doesn't have more expensive version with more space. Alright that you receive 25GB from Dropbox, but I don't think a Micro SD slot would be so difficult...

Rated 5 out of 5Â by ChristopherHTC A Worm in the Apple
This product is a well-designed, highly polished phone. The camera is exceptional as well as the screen. This product is a great competitor of the iPhone even now that the iPhone 5 is out. The larger screen is excellent for constant use (Which we all know we constantly use our phones). The Beat Audio truly does amplify the sound and makes my normal 15$ headphones and my Beats Solo's and Studios sound much better. The camera is the first and best TRUE SmartCamera that thinks for you (Look at some of those How-To's, there legit). This product can easily compete with the iPhone and Samsung. As the iPhone's maps and Voice searches are getting worse, HTC is taking advantage and going all out on their products. I love the HTC Media Link and the option to flip your phone over to silence it. This product's durability is 100x any Apple product.

This was my first smartphone and i am completely blown away. The rest of my family owns iPhones but i have always been a Google fanatic. When i first touched Android on my HTC One X i was amazed. HTC Sense creates a whole new browsing experience as well as making a very friends interface for anyone. But i want HTC to update to Jelly Bean soon.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by zanywood love this phone!!!
I have owned a number of HTC phones my first was HTC.hero back 4 years ago. My last was HTC amaze 4 g on t mobile it was a awesome phone and I hated parting with it. It was lightning quick but really heavy. Well I got on my girls att family plan.and.of.course picked the.HTC one x and.am so glad.I.did!! I thought not having access to a sd card would really stink and it does really I'm getting used to it though but will always miss my sd card. Also not being able to change batteries has been a set back but so far I am impressed by the.hox battery life it really last a nice long time. Ok it sounds like I'm putting this phone down but I'm not really just a few issues that take getting used to. Now to the.awesomeness of the HOX The weight.and thinness of this.phone is.incredible it is.so light.it is awesome. Paper thin phone fits in my pocket easily. The white phone which I have is a.bit slippery hard to hold on to I have dropped this phone.about 5 times already so I roughed up the back some so I could get a better grip. The Brightness of the screen is Amazing. It is so bright and beautiful that I'm in awe of this screen. The gorilla.glass is not as scratch resistant as they make.it sound. I have Already gotten a.couple small.scratches.on this screen so don't think just coz it's gorilla glass that it won't scratch because it will. Well I seen this spray on screen prtotector I'm going to try out. The speed of the.dual core.processor really out.dies the new.quad cores. This arm7 processor is speedy no problems there. Ok.that's about it.I could write for days on how good this phone is but you must try it yourself once you hold this phone in your hands.you will never wanna put it down it is that great. So keep up the.good work HTC I mve your phones!!!

I think the original One X is beast! I bought it a month before the plus was announced, so I missed out on that. I moved over from Motofail after they stopped supporting all their devices and dealing with their horrible customer service. HTC You rule and are awesome about keeping your customers informed!

My One X is awesome and I'm glad I gave up my iPhone 4S for this.
Getting use to Android may take awhile, but once you are used to it you will love this phone.
Amazing camera (day & night), good surfing speed, battery life is reasonable (iPhone is not any better anyway).
And most of the apps are free.
Anyone who is looking to get One X, go for it!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by wblp Screen broke the FIRST time it was dropped
At first, I liked the phone. However, the first time it was dropped, the screen shattered. I've had several phones over the years and this is the first one that shattered. The phone fell 2 1/2 feet and landed flat on the ground, and had a protective case.
Unfortunately, the retailer did not warn us of the delicate nature of the phone.
I can not and do not recommend this phone, especially if you are a power user (I am a fairly light user).

Rated 4 out of 5Â by YanivR Love & Recommendation
I love this phone. I really think that HTC is not only the best alternative to iOS, but it is superior, on the whole.
My greatest concern is the Android update history. If it wasn't for this issue, I would give the phone a 5 star rating. Forums across the net are clamoring with frustration over this issue, and I am sure HTC will see many users move to pure Android devices like the Nexus for their future phones.
If HTC gave consumers the choice of installing pure Android, without Sense (as good as it is) . . . Then HTC would have a blockbuster phone that no one can touch. Users want pure Android . . . why fight it? Give it to them! You are losing more users due to frustration than you are gaining with any improvements you make with Sense.
I love the hardware . . . this is a Ferrari of a phone in terms of speed. But the battery life is not so great . . . and I would love for HTC to make the phone feel even more amazing in the hand. The texture of the plastic is great, but it could be better. Samsung's phones feel unbelievably cheap in the hand and I am happy HTC is not going in this direction.
If these improvements are made, I have no doubt . . . HTC will become the premier smartphone/superhpone maker in the world!
