Rated 5 out of 5Â by Priyank8 Here's one smartphone you won't wanna miss. Atleast,if you're rich enough.
I mean,it's much more than a smartphone. Trust me,it's much more.
First up,the phone's spec sheet never fails to amaze considering the price at which you're buying it. I live in India and I got this phone at Rs.28500(504.47 US Dollar approx as of 31st May,2013). But believe me,this is worth every penny.
I would first like to state what I didn't JUST like about the phone. The things I LOVED .
DISPLAY - I'm given to understand that the beast sports a 4.7 Inch super LCD 2 HD touch screen, which has an impressive 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. As awesome as it sounds, the display is amazing. Crisp and clean, the 312 ppi(approx) deliver much more than you would expect. Secondly, the 4.7 Inch screen fits right onto your hands. It isn't as big as probably NOTE or OPTIMUS G PRO but trust me,the display isn't small either. Plus, the polycarbonate body with matte finish on the back gives an overall good feel. In a nutshell, it's a phone you can fully operate with a single hand. Period.
CPU - Now,the phone houses a 1.7 GHz Quad Core processor. Snapdragon,if I'm not wrong. But you don't need to worry about that. The phone is fast and lag free. Totally. Plus you get 1 GB of RAM. This could have been more but no issues yet.
CAMERA - If I had to list the top 5 things I like about this phone, the camera would certainly find a place. It's so freaking amazing. 8.0 MP on the back. More than you will ever need. Seriously. And 1.6 MP on the front. And let me tell you,the 1.6 MP front-facing camera was the one that amazed me the most. It's that good. Plus the phone also has LED Flash. Full HD recording at 1920 x 1080 is available . The following camera features are also available - Auto Focus, Dedicated HTC Image Chip, Video Pic, Sightseeing Mode, Video Stabilization, Slow Motion Video Capture and Playback, Continuous Shooting: One-press Continuous Shooting Captures up to 99 Shots. Dude, believe me or not, this might be better than any 13 MP mobile camera. Don't just go by the numbers.
MEMORY - You don't get a Micro SD Slot, but hey! Why do you even need it,when you've got 64 GB on board. Plus,25 GB DropBox space for two years. Awesome. (to be noted- You don't get about 8-9 GB from your internal memory so you get about 55 odd gigabytes of space, which should be far from necessary).
SOUND - You get BeatsAudio. Enough said.
(Speakers are average though)
You get 4.1.1 Jellybean inbuilt with HTC Sense 4+ alongwith other cool features like support for NFC,WI-FI,DLNA and BlueTooth. Internet browsing speeds are good as well. Pinch to zoom on browsers can be improved though.
Battery - That's the only (slightly) weak point if I might say. The battery can't be removed. Plus, though it's capacity is I guess 2100 mAh,it certainly can be improved. However, you get 6-8 hours of heavy usage and 10-12 hours of light usage.
Interface is also clean;the apps pre-installed on the device are helpful as well. In this regard I would like to point out that it would be better if some sort of FileManager was pre-installed on the device so that we don't have to download form external sources to just view the files on the device.
All in all,I think I've covered almost everything. This phone has one or two glitches, but that's fine. But all in all,it's a great, sorry an amazing buy !
Hope this helps !
Cheers ! :D

Rated 4 out of 5 ONE X+ yep!
i really like this phone it is just amazing! i have it for 1 month and it blow my mind .
there is one thing i hate about it battery life, if you want the phone to last a full day don't try playing nova 3 or shadowgun or other hay graphics games cause that drain the battery very easily .

One X+ is very fast phone with good characteristics. Good feel in hand, camera is okay really like the burst mode feature, and other things that camera give, maybe they can work a little in this new update to improve it in some parts. Now I am just waiting for that Android 4.2 with Sense 5 update to come to be even faster and to fix things that needs to be fixed with it. It would be great to see that new features Zoe on our HOX+, and battery improvement.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by poolshark Not happy with this phone at all
The battery life on this phone is really bad. I will never again get a phone that I can't replace the battery. I have to charge it a couple of times a day and if I know I am going somewhere I have to make sure it has a full charge. This is my third One X+ and I have issues with this one like I did the other 2. Just the other day I had to do a factory reset because I couldn't get the internet and I lost a lot of stuff because I couldn't back up since I didn't have internet and I wasn't home. Can't wait until a new phone that I like comes out. I think I am done with HTC. My first and last phone from them.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by vertical INCREDIBLE PHONE
I upgraded from the HTC One X due to limited storage. I thought the upgrade was minor, but it was major. The One X was an excellent phone, but with limited storage and average battery life. Not sure exactly what they did with the One X+, but battery life with the battery saver function is amazing - it lasts at least 3 times longer, despite the increased performance and 4 cores. Camera also has photo and video tweaks that made the upgrade worthwhile, and with 64GB of storage, I don't have to worry about running out of space. I actually view the one X+ as a mini tablet that happens to make phone calls. Everything is snappy and the design oozes quality. This is a fantastic HTC product - too bad they didn't do more advertising so people realized that.

Rated 5 out of 5 The best bang for the buck
HTC One X plus is high-end device no doubt, great all-rounder, seriously the best bang for the buck I came across for a very long time.
It came out at the end of 2012, now it's summer 2013 and I simply can't find anything close to match it in terms of speed, reliability, looks, battery life and graphics performance - all of this MUCH cheaper than iPhone 5 or Samsung galaxy S4.
My previous phone Samsung galaxy S2 had this title for almost two years but it's time to get quad-core and HTC has better looks and battery life than Samsung S3/4. HTC's rubber-ish surface finish feels sooo nice in your hand and give you that secure well-fitted feeling WITHOUT additional protectors/cases/straps etc. Camera is superb, takes brilliant crystal clear photos and videos, and PLENTY of them thanks to 64gb memory :) GPS and Google maps navigating is absolute pleasure to use, smooth like a butter.
It has one thing I don't like - power/unlock button is too far to reach since this is big phone. Power button should be on a either side of the phone instead of being on the top.
I hope Android 4.2 will arrive soon and maybe HTC sense 5 interface!!??

Rated 3 out of 5Â by axxxo Good looking, but with flaws
Beautiful looking and a great feel but design flaws such as the plastic around the camera lens which scratches easily rendering the camera useless unless repaired and a loose sim card slot which you get prompted several times during the day to enter your pin number (i'm on my third!) and as usual, no updates from HTC

Rated 1 out of 5Â by raima0804 My HTC One X crashed while using an APP and never turned ON
I bought my HTC One X in U.K. and get it unlocked in October 2012. I used it in Canada for 7 months. It suddenly stopped working (while I was using an APP). After this it never turned ON.
I have used all the tricks but no joy.
I will never buy any HTC products again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mnaeh And then some…
When I first saw the design of HTC One X, I thought "I must have this beauty". Except the protruding camera, everything else was perfect… well at least the design-wise. Battery life was, well, let's say "fine". It could get me through the day but I had to use a bit of brainpower to optimize my usage pattern. Some people also weren't satisfied with 32GB of internal storage, although I think it was more than enough.
So, if you liked HTC One X, you're gonna LOVE One X+. HTC decided to upgrade all potentially "bad" aspects of the older brother while all great features are still there.
When I took it out of the box, first impression was enough to completely win me over – rubberized feeling in hand, similar to HTC 8X. While I thought One X to be a bit slippery on few occasions, One X+ really gives you grip you always wanted. And it feels premium and "expensive". You know that situation when you give a phone to your friend and he's like "Woooow!" ;) And you simply can't go wrong with black/red combo, right? :) While I like "Polar White" variant, it lacks the sexiness of the black one, plus it doesn't have rubber-like finish.
I was happy because of 64GB storage, although it just gave me 40GB of free storage space instead of "just" 8GB :) Of course, this came in really handy when I went to a boring business trip and I could pack few TV shows and bunch of movies. Couple that with MHL to HDMI adapter and you can never be bored again.
But real under-the-hood winner is 2100mAh battery. You can think it's "just 300mAh" bigger that the older brother's power source, but that 300mAh is exactly what you need to finish your day smoothly. Newer nVidia SoC will give you much higher talk times. My One X's battery used to drain much quicker if I had a lot of voice calls during the day, but on X+ it seems that voice calls almost don't impact battery at all.
When you pack more storage, bigger battery and faster CPU on One X's beautiful design what more could you look for? I know we have a new king of the hill right now, but if you don't need the best and newest and still want to enjoy the flagship feeling, I don't see any other alternative. One X+ is THE best in its class. Period.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TheRedShade87 An excellent phone shadowed by poor battery...
I have the One X+ for over 2 months now (moved from GS3) and I have to say that the overall experience is quite good, better than the GS3 actually. The phone gives the power user what he needs,no lag.It also takes something from him, good battery life to enjoy its amazing performance. The battery dies quite quickly especially when playing games (with no intense graphics either) or broswing the web with 3g or Wi-Fi which is a shame for a phone sporting a Nvidia chipset.I believe that issues from the problematic auto-brightness feature and the also problematic standby mode which drains energy when it shouldn't.The Beats audio is a massive improvement although sometimes wearies the user with its excessive bass and tremble (so I would prefer more sound choices on the music player).I hope a good and well made update will change all that, add more (low light mode on the camera) and give the phone a five star review it has the potential for!

As soon as you hold the device in your palms your eyes will instantly fall in love with its beautiful screen. The device is fast, responsive , the camera isn't the best camera out there but it does suffice. And that 64gb of storage just adds to the fun! A new version of the amazing One X
