Rated 4 out of 5Â by Yano Good alternative to the iPhone!
The Android OS is truly not as easy to use as iOS. But just about everything else is just as good or better than my iphone 5. I tempted for the HTC One , but it is waaay to big for my needs, so the mini fits in just fine. 4 MP with larger per-pixel-on-sensor density is brilliant! Much better than boasting pixels on a tiny sensor. It's like comparing a 5MP DSLR to a half-baked 40MP point and shoot, the 5MP is going to win.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Chunnu It's a wow product
HTC One mini bucked with the same UltraPixel camera, which technically is just 4MP, but the pixels themselves are much larger, capturing more light in than the tinier dots that are in higher-res phone cameras, and that's a pretty important part of the equation. The upside of large resolutions, though, is said to be the ability to print the pictures in huge.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by samsufi gud product but micro SD slot needed
In this range of mobile phone this product is very nice and gud...but if a product dnt have micro SD slot than it will not up to the mark for me and others.....internal memory is not everything for the users....if u want to increase market of this phone please provide micro SD slot...

Rated 4 out of 5Â by JeffreyJ A really cool mini!
Overall performance and interface is great. One drawback would be the lack of micro SD slot, which other phones in the range has. If memory is not a problem, then this mini is a sure one to go for.

I was waiting for small phone with high spec because I bring out my phone when jogging. 1 GB of RAM today? HTC, do you plan not to provide any Android version update?
Please make One Mini S with 2 GB of RAM. The component difference will be less than 20 dollars, won't it?

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Sreejith Wifi Hotspot is missing
All given specs are fit for a mini version... Good.. However wifi hotspot is missing in specs which is common in even lower end phones than this model, Battery seems to be OK if compared to iphone-5, hope it will be good as in paper.
Eagerly waiting for a 4.3 comfortable display

Rated 4 out of 5Â by RajeshM Mini could be better
HTC ONE is the best phone in the world today. I was waiting for the mini version anxiously and with below specs
1. Snapdragon 800 processor which has fast charging 2.0 option
2. same look and features as HTC one ( or rather better then the bigger version of HTC ONE)
3. a 4.0 inch screen instead of 4.3 inch with same resolution as HTC ONE.
4. also with 2 GB of RAM instead of just 1 GB
This could have been the best phone with these features and size. People are willing to pay more but only if the product meets their expectations because if someone can pay 45k for a dumb phone like iphone in INDIA then why not pay the same amount or more for a smart phone.
also the size is of paramount importance because there are many big phone in terms of screen size from HTC stable itself and now HTC need to cater to the customer who look for pocketable smart phone.
Everybody is going bigger whereas the hands of the people who will use this phones will still remain of the same size.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Ferg Love It
Had my One mini for about a weeks now and I must say I am very impressed. I've upgraded from a Desire S which served me well for two years but was definitely in need of replacing. Decided on the One mini due to its smaller for factor (for easier one handed use and fitability in jeans pockets) and certainly don't regret not getting a larger phone.
All-in-all I'm very happy with the phone. The screen is sharp and clear, it certainly runs fast enough for everything I need it to do, 16 GB storage is more than enough for my current needs (though I must admit having an SD card slot would definitely be a welcome addition) and the camera is a massive improvement over my old handset. I'm even growing to like Blink-Feed, though it could certainly do with some more customisation options in terms of the feeds presented.
I'm only just shy of giving this an "Excellent" rating due to the somewhat poor battery life. Although the battery does last pretty much the same as the Desire S, given that we're two+ years on from that generation of handset, I had expected a greater improvement in battery life, but the purchase of a portable USB charging battery should make up for this. I'd also have complained about the lack of a desk cradle, but I've just noticed today that one is available from JMB on the HTC accessory store.
Bottom-line: great, though not perfect, handset.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by nickharman Great phone
Love the camera, can't see why people complain. I use a dSLR too and this phone beats it not, obviously, on total picture quality but on being a great camera that is actually portable so it gets the shots you see when just walking about unencumbered by heavy kit. Battery life is not good, but that's the curse of all phones these days.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by LongTimeHTCUser Rubbish Camera
Lovely phone but camera is rubbish, I have had HTC's for a long time & this is the 1st one I have been disappointed with. Don't buy if you use the camera a lot, only 4 megapixels regardless of HTC promoting their 'ultra pixels' the camera is not a good selling point. I have compared the picture from this to the picture from the HTC Desire S & there is no contest.
I have decided to send the HTC Mini back and look for something else - very disappointed to be doing this but know I won't be happy keeping the phone because of the camera.
HTC please put a better camera on the Mini as other than that it is a great phone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by PhoneGuru Beautiful. Initiative. Affordable
Everything about it is almost perfect. Despite on paper having a less powerful processor than it's other HTC One counterparts, it runs just as well and is an equally good phone with a good feel and size. Only slight problem is occasional camera quality drop in some lightings.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by scottyboy great phone
I love my one mini as I have had HTC for the last 6 years and never had an issue with them and with the mini I was not disappointed at all the camera with zoe is a great step up from my sensation xe but the phone is the same size which is great as I didn't want a big phone but the headphones are not so good my last few beats which I'm using. But all in all I would recommend this phone if your looking for something that's not to big but want a little something that compets with the best of the others.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Bryn Sound reality check
Contrary to reviews on here the camera is fine, just don't zoom in as this is when you get noise. My problem is with the sound. With the headphones provided it is frankly embarrassing, it sounds like the band have recorded songs down the bottom of a metal lined hole, awful. The external speakers are quite good for what they are, comfortably used the phone as a radio while on holiday. I was basically seduced by the looks so I'm keeping it and buying some decent headphones! If you like music don't forget to add the cost of a set of headphones!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by andylluy Very Worth It
i can't be happier that i picked up an HTC one mini. Even though the processor isn't as good as the htc one i personally think this phone suits my every need. Boom sound is awesome, the aluminum back feels very solid and good quality. The battery life isn't great up it could get around 12 hours with on and off use with power save on. I recommend this phone to anyone who wouldn't like to pay so much for the one but still want a solid high quality device.

It’s about as good-looking and well-built as the iPhone 5, against which it’s very serious competition. It holds up well against other mainstream attention-getters like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z. In fact, it’s really only beaten by HTC.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Amos Very disappointed
Despite declaring over 13 hours of talk time and over 600 hours of stand by the battery does not even last one day.
With 33% of brightness only and "power save" mode activated the telephone at 4 pm is dead from 7 am, ridiculous!
£380 spent. It is not worth it for sure.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Motovic HTC one mini
I had a htc phone before and it was bad at picking up a signal in a low signal area, so I swapped it for a Motorola defy which worked great in a low signal area. Plus if you start to enter a phone number and tap the wrong part of the screen by mistake your number is gone but on a Motorola/iphone your number is still their.
Just bought a new htc one mini and guess what still bad no signal in a low signal area and your number still disappears if you change screens. I think I will wait for a Motorola or a iPhone still will be better then htc.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Crazee A fantastic phone in a compact shell!
I have battled between which phone i wanted to own next. After seeing the HTC One I was amazed at how beautiful and amazingly designed it was. But a little too expensive for my liking, so I was happy to see that HTC had released a younger brother to its flagship device. I have not been dissapointed since receiving this phone. The size and design is perfect. Not too big and not too small. The screen resolution is stunning aswell as the in-built camera. I was actually shocked at how much the mini was like the real deal. Not much has been sacrificed to make this phone. I found it a little tricky after being a Galaxy user, to come to terms with HTC Sense, but alongside Jelly Bean 4.2, it really is a wonderful experience when you gain the feel for the phone. I can't put it down! I love having it in my hands to show off to the outside world. It may not be the great HTC One, but is the great HTC One MINI! A marvellous device in its own right!!!

I have to admit to being an HTC fan, having both the Desire and Sensation in the past. Upgrade time arrived and although I loved the look of the HTC One ( both my husband and daughter have this) the size was just a little too big. So was very pleased to see the release of the mini!
Easy to use, smooth and fast, the sound is fabulous, noticeably during calls, people have commented how good the quality is on calls I have made . Battery time is pretty good especially with the power save option checked, I also find it charges very quickly too.
Just have to say this phone has everything I need.

This phone is honestly amazing! There are hardly any faults with it. The Design of the phone is flawless and it's so easy to use, as all of the content is neatly stored on one easily accessible home screen. I have used a HTC prior to this phone (Desire HD) which I thought was very good, until I used the HTC one, It's completely changed the way I look at mobile phones and I'm so glad I've bought it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is searching for a new mobile phone!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by GWAUK Almost all the power of the One, better package and price
HTC have always made excellent devices. However the "mine is bigger than yours" in screen and overall size is begining to encroach on tablets. This Mini is the ideal size for the hand (of most people) and pocket/purse at a good price for the technology/facilities on offer. Its interesting that the screen is only slightly larger than SJ of the fruit company said was the ideal. It has competition in the recently introduced S4 Mini from Sammy Sung except that also offers a dual SIM version. I travel a far amount and find a dual SIM facility allowing a local SIM plus UK SIM or a second network to improve local coverage to be great, almost essential, asset. I currently have the HTC dual SIM Desire 606w. I know there is SD version of the One available in a few markets and do hope that HTC extend the Mini One brand to include a dual SIM version A perfect phone for personal and business use for many smartphone users.
