Overall it's an excellent phone in all aspects but still lacking in the battery department, the OneX+ is powered by a 2100mAh battery which is good but still won't be sufficient for the Butterfly.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by immu Beautiful enough but not bold enough
I have been using HTC phones since tytn 2 was launched back in 2008 and i must say that htc has best build quality and sense ui. I owned tytn 2, hd 2, desire hd ,sensation, sensation xe, sensation xl, one x , one x + and now htc butterfly. All these were awesome in terms of looks and performance but the only things disappointed me was camera and battery life (except xe and one x + battery life). I love the screen of butterfly but again its lacking battery performance. HTC plz do something and launch phones with bigger batteries, this in the main drawback and plz concentrate on this, rest makes me happy as always.

How to compete with lg and Samsung as the network is very limited. No AWS of 1700/2100. With this, it would be a universal phone. IMHO.

love the FULL HD screen, with SLCD3 display, quad core as lighting fast, battery is consider fair if you are heavy user and i guess most of us are heavy user. Performance is good, features is fair, as other smartphone got more feature than this, need to improvement in this category.

Amazing 2 camera in 1 phone! Authentic sound! With Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 Ghz and 2 GB of RAM, it's very fast and easy to multitasking! Front camera with a wide angle lens, we can keep stylish in social network. With continuous shoot, we will not miss the great moments around us. And I love it!

Very good idea to compete for Samsungs Note II !!!!
+sd card slot
The Note 2 has a 3100 mha big battery and this is wonderfull becauseyou can really use it the hole day. And if you have a fantastic phone like the butterfly and you can't use it because of the battery it's annoying.
Please HTC think about the battery it's the most important point in a modern Smartphone.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Fagbo Great Device...somewhat dissapointing
I bought this device yesterday in China, and I have found it somewhat dissapointing. The hardware is nice, but the software is not too integrated or flexible. For instance, why is there no Google Play Store, and HTC Marketplace is in Chinese? For us non-Chinese speaking people, the market place is useless! Standard google apps like gmail is missing!
On the other hand, the hardware is great. No excuses!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by kairi A big NO
I regret buying this phone..updates are so lame..camera is crazy..the flash led has a yellowish tint..as if they don't want to bring out updates to this phone..all other phones had at least 4.2.2 update and up to this date no updates from 4.1.1..also screen gets scratched so easily..also a few smearing on the lcd..

I upgraded from a Desire S & love the Butterfly.
For such a powerful phone with a big screen, it doesn't feel too big... In fact, I think it hits the sweet spot between size and practicality

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ANS2512 Good , Small improvements still required
Was very anxiously waiting for release of this phone in India & felt very glad to read very first thing about its launch in India.
All specs are absolutely overwhelming. However, I feel HTC is missing on below mentioned in all its new endeavours. Please check.
1. FM Radio:- Very much required, because in many parts of this country FM range is there but internet connectivity is not there. Thus, FM is helpful with regard hearing news & listening to music, on air entertainment.
2. Battery size should have been more than or equal to 2200 / 2500.
3. Also, now please change shape (profile) of the handset.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by HTCSupporter Good phone if it really have it all as mentioned
Overall it is a good phone but unfortunately HTC killed it with a Double Standard treatment. I read the specs and review of this phone before purchasing it in the internet. Had got it immediately after it reached Malaysia. To my disappointment, i later found out the Butterfly that enter Malaysia Market does not have NFC and LTE as mentioned in the website. Being so highly priced, they took these features out to save cost and took out what was supposed we had paid for. They should at least make it clear so that we as consumer will be able to get the right phone. Felt so much cheated when i found out it does not support LTE and NFC when the websites mentioned that this phone have these features. For anyone hoping to buy this phone, please do not buy. Wait for the next M7 that is coming soon. 13MP Camera, LTE and NFC is becoming more common so you wouldn't want to tied yourself up with the missing features when the phone is so highly priced. Hopefully it is not a double standard treatment again for Malaysia market. With such Double standard, i really need to consider if i should get HTC phone in future.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by piti BATTERY! BATTERY! please give me more!
I have used several HTC phones back from the bar type erra,
battery life was always an issue since.
No wonder HTC made excellent phones, it can compete with those big names both in performance and built quality.
but I am amazed how and why their engineers totally ignore developing a decent battery?!
You keep on squeezing in more and more powerful features without improving the battery life will make the problem even worse till no longer bearable.
I have to shut down most of the features just hope it can last till the end of office hour.
Don't get me wrong, I like HTC. But hope you can make it more practical in every days use rather than a Super Spec Sheet!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Aldric Overall Satisfied
The Butterfly's overall performance, especially its durability, screen, speed and battery life amazes me. Rather easy to use and sleek. I highly recommend for those who want a powerful and simplistic office on the go.
With respect to battery life, I charge the Butterfly once every 23-24 hours. In my experience with smartphones, that goes a long way!
The keyboard is amazing. I get less mistypes compared to my previous phone. I did not replace the keyboard with other apps as I did before. This is because I text in multiple languages (English, Iban, Malay & Sarawak Malay). The Butterfly experience eliminates the hassle!
