HTC And China Telecom Announce Partnership; Unveils New T9199 双擎 Smartphone For China Market

BEIJING, CHINA – October 27, 2010 – HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, together with China Telecom, today announced unveiled the new HTC T9199 双擎 smartphone. The first smartphone designed by HTC and China Telecom for Chinese consumers, the HTC T9199 双擎, offers an intuitive user experience, together with a host of mobile business and multimedia applications and services.

The new HTC T9199 双擎 smartphone is a high end business-focused quadband smartphone targeted at the business consumerwith dual-network support for CDMA-2000 and GSM. Its 4.3-inch wide cinematic display, Windows Mobile 6.5 OS capability, and Qualcomm 8650 Snapdragon 1GHz processor makes running mobile and business applications easy and intuitive. The new smartphone also includes HTC Sense, a holistic experience based on putting you at the center, by making things work simply the way they should.
In addition, the new HTC T9199 双擎 smartphone runs on China Telecom’s leading Tianyi (天翼) 3G network , and offers access to the ”天翼” app store, where users can download key services and applications including 189 mobile mailbox, “爱” music, and ”天翼” Live.
