Setting up HTC Sync to recognize your phone

  1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your phone.
  2. When your phone prompts you to choose a type of USB connection, tap HTC Sync, and then tap Done. Wait for HTC Sync to recognize your phone.
  3. On the Device setup screen, enter a name for your phone.
  4. Click Save. The Device panel then opens.
Tip: To change the name of your phone later, click Overview > Device setup.
