You will first need to load the file on your device. From the Storage Card:
- Locate the file in the Internal Storage
- Tap and hold the file and select "Copy" from the popup menu
- Navigate to the “My Documents" folder and paste the file into the folder
- Copy the music file to the "My Documents" folder on your phone using either ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center
- Once the file has been loaded in the "My Documents" folder on your device, go to Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications Tab
- From the Event Drop down list, select the event
- From the Play Sound drop down list, select the file and tap OK

Your device can support the following audio formats: *.wma, *.mp3, *.midi, *.rmi, *.amr, *.awb, *.m4a. To set an Audio file as your ringtone:
From the Storage Card:- Locate the file in the Internal Storage, Tap and hold the file and select "Set as Ringtone" from the popup menu.
- Using ActiveSync, select "Explore".
- Open the "Windows Mobile-based device".
- Open the Windows Folder.
- Open the "Rings" folder.
- Drag and drop file into the "Rings folder".
- To set the file as your ringtone, go to Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications Tab > Select file from drop down.
