Adding an E-mail Account
The Set Up E-mail application provides virtually unlimited access to your work and personal e-mail right on your device. Instantly access your E-mail from Microsoft® Exchange, AOL®, AIM®, Yahoo!®, Windows Live™, Gmail™, EarthLink®, Comcast®, and many more, including any POP3 or IMAP4 server.
1. Navigate to Message Center from the Home screen, and scroll left to Set Up E-Mail and then press Center Select key.
2. To add an e-mail account, select the desired account from the presented list, and then follow the instructions on the screen and provide your e-mail address and password. E-mail accounts like Comcast, EarthLink, Adelphia, etc. can be added by selecting "Other E-mail."
3. Select Finish to attempt synchronization with your mailbox. The last 3 days worth of e-mail will be downloaded to your device.
4. Once your account has been added, a new Inbox for this e-mail account can be found in the Message Center.
5. You can add a maximum of 6 e-mail accounts in addition to one Outlook account.
Outlook Setup Using ActiveSync
Synchronize your device directly with your Microsoft Exchange server. No need to connect with your computer, just follow the simple step-by-step instructions below. All you need is your Exchange login name, password, domain and mail server details.
1. Navigate to Message Center from the home screen, and scroll left to Set Up E-Mail and then press Center Select key.
2. Select Outlook®.
3. Select "Set up your device to sync with it."
4. Enter your server address. If required, check the box "This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection."
5. Enter your user name, password, and domain. Check the box to "Save Password."
6. Check the boxes of the items you want to sync. Select Finish.
7. Wait for ActiveSync to sync your data for all categories you chose.
8. Schedule your sync times easily by selecting Menu > Schedule.

Reboot (soft reset)
Press and hold the End/Power key or remove the battery

Conserve battery life
Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and/or direct push e-mail functions
Turn Wi-Fi on or off
On the Home screen, scroll down to Settings, press the Center Select key and then select Wi-Fi
Minimize myFavesSM
Select Start > myFaves > Display and then select Minimized
Note: When minimized, your myFaves will remain closed on the Home screen until you press the Center Select key.

Call selected name or phone number
Enter the contact name or number using the keyboard. Use the Navigation Wheel to highlight the name and then press Center Select
Call a speed dial number
Press the Send key. Press Center Select to dial a different number
