- Synchronizing with Outlook on Your Computer more
-
If you use Microsoft Outlook on your Windows computer, you can sync your Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks, and email with your phone, so that they are available wherever you are. You can also add new calendar items, contacts, and tasks on your phone, and they will show up in Outlook the next time you connect to your computer.
You can only sync Outlook information with one computer. For example, if you have Outlook on both your home and work computers, you will need to choose one computer to sync with.
If you want to sync your Outlook at work with your phone and your company uses Exchange Server, you may want to sync via your phone's Internet connection instead. This ensures that your data stays updated even when you are away from your computer. For instructions on doing this, see Setting Up Your Work Outlook Account in this section.
For instructions on synchronizing with Outlook on your computer, see the following topics in this section: Synchronizing with Outlook on Your Windows XP Computer and Synchronizing with Outlook on Your Windows Vista Computer
If you experience problems when connecting your phone with your computer, see Troubleshooting Sync Connection with Your Computer in this section
