On the Home Screen more

Return to home screen from any other screen
Press Home key or End key

Make a call
Press Send key

View missed calls
Scroll down to Missed Call pane

View and check voicemail
Scroll down to Missed Call pane and arrow right to Voicemail pane

View upcoming appointments
Scroll down to Appointments pane and arrow left and right through upcoming appointments

Create a new appointment
Scroll down to Appointments pane and arrow to and select New Appointment.

View unread messages
Scroll down to Messages pane

View unread emails
Scroll down to Email pane

To configure weather pane
Scroll down to Weather pane and select Add City

Download an individual attachment
Select the individual attachment from the list of attachments

Save downloaded attachment
Open the attachment. Save from the Menu

Attach a file to e-mail message
Select Menu > Insert > File

Attach a picture to e-mail message
Select Insert > Picture

Use the five-way navigation button

Zoom in on an image
Select Menu > Zoom > Zoom in

Zoom out of an image
Select Menu > Zoom > Zoom out

Open browser and display Bookmarks
Select Start > Internet Explorer®

Edit web address in address bar
Select Menu > Go to Web Address

Use down navigation key

Scroll left or right on a page

Move between full screen mode and normal mode
Select Menu > View > Full Screen

Change your homepage
Select Menu > Tools > Options > Home Page

Select Menu > Tools > Options > Browsing History. Highlight Temporary Files and select Clear

Select Zoom Out to view the entire page. Then, use the directional keys to highlight the area where you want to zoom to. Select Zoom In to zoom slowly or press Select (the middle of the direction pad) to zoom in fully

Typing more

Capitalize a letter
Press Up Arrow (Shift/CAPS) key

Type alternate character on a key
Press FN key and select the symbol on the keyboard

Insert @ in an e-mail field
Press Fn and the comma button

Turn on CAP lock
Press the Up Arrow (Shift/CAPS) key twice

Turn off CAP lock
Press the Up Arrow (Shift/CAPS) key once

Access the number pad
Press FN key and desired number

Access symbols not found as an alternate character
Press the SYM key and then choose the desired symbol

General Tips more

Reboot (soft reset)
Hold the red Hang-up key to power the device off

Charge the device
Use the AC adaptor supplied with the device. Use the USB cable as a backup.

Lock the device
Press and hold the Home key

Unlock the device
Press left Soft key (Unlock) and(*) key.

Turn Flight mode on/off
Scroll down to the Settings pane and arrow right to Comm Manager. Press Select. Highlight Airplane Mode and press Select.

Adjust volume
Use the Up/Down Volume button located on the left side of the device

Stop an individual task
Select Start > Accessories > Task Manager. Highlight the desired task and press End Task.

Stop running programs
Select Start > Accessories > Task Manager. Select Menu > End All Tasks.

Quickly access the Task Manager
Press and hold the Home key

Smart Dialer
On the Phone Screen, begin entering contact name or number using keypad. Use up/down navigation keys to highlight name and select to dial.

Call selected name or phone number
Press Send key (green button)

Call a speed dial number
Hold assigned number key

Call voice mail access number
Hold (1) key

Turn mute on/off during call
Select Menu > Mute/Unmute while on a call

Change volume during call
Use volume up/down key located on the left side of the device.

Open phone dialer
Press Send key

Scroll to message using the five-way navigation button. Select message using center navigation key

Select Menu then New

Reply to message
Select left Soft key (Reply) or Menu > Reply > Reply

Forward message
Select Menu > Reply > Forward

Reply to all
Select Menu > Reply > Reply All

Turn on / off "direct push" e-mail
Access the Comm Manager and then select Direct Push
