What types of email does my device support? more
Microsoft Exchange, IMAP4 and POP3.
How do I send an SMS from my device? more
To create an SMS message, scroll to the Messaging tab of TouchFLO 3D and tap the New Message icon. Enter the 10 digit wireless number or select from your Contacts (Menu > Add Recipient). Enter message text and tap Send.
How many email accounts can my device support? more
6 accounts; 1 Exchange and 5 POP3/IMAP4 accounts.
How do I set up my e-mail? more
Scroll to the Mail tab in TouchFLO 3D and tap on New Account. If you want to setup a second mailbox, tap Menu > Accounts > New Account. Enter your email address and password and the device will automatically configure your POP3 or IMAP4 email account.
Can I add my signature when replying to e-mails on my device? more
In Messaging on your device, tap Menu > Options > Signatures. Select an account and then select Use signature with this account and Use when replying and forwarding. You can then enter a signature.
How do I set my device to store attachments from received e-mails to the storage card automatically? more
Tap Start > All Programs > Messaging > Menu > Options > Storage and then select the When available, use this storage card to store attachments check box.
How do I access and use instant messaging software on my phone? more
Tap Start > Mobile IM> Select the service which you would like to use. Use of this feature will require a data connection.
How do I flag a message? more
Tap Start > All Applications > Email > Outlook E-mail > Select a message > Tap Menu > Follow Up, then select one of the following options:
  1. Set Flag (Red) to remind yourself to follow up
  2. Complete Flag (Check) indicate that the issue or request in the email is already completed
  3. Clear Flag Remove the flag to unmark the message
Use of this feature will require a data connection and a valid Outlook email account.
How do I set up custom notifications on my phone? more
Tap Start > Settings > All Settings > Sounds & Notifications. In the Notifications tab, select the event you would like to customize and then its notification sound. When you’re done tap OK. Use of this feature will require a data connection.
How do I setup my internet email account? more
On the Home screen, slide to the Email tab > tap New Account > Enter your email address and password, then tap Next > Enter your name and the account display name, then tap Next (you may be prompted to enter the email account settings manually, which can found from your email provider) > Tap the Automatic Send/Receive time, and choose how often you want email messages to be downloaded onto your phone. > Select or clear an advanced setting according to your preference, and then tap Done. Use of this feature will require a data connection.
How do I setup my Outlook email account? more
On the Home screen, slide to the Email tab > Touch New Account at the bottom-right of the screen > Enter your email address and password, select Exchange Email (Outlook), and then tap Next > Enter the domain name and server address, select the This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection option, if needed, and then tap Next > Clear the data that you want to exclude from synchronization, and then tap Done.
How do I turn on Direct Push on my phone? more
There are two ways to enable Direct Push:
  1. Tap Start > Settings > Communications > Touch the OFF/ON slider at the right side of the Microsoft Direct Push item.
  2. In ActiveSync, Tap Start > All Applications > ActiveSync and then tap Menu > Schedule > Select As items arrive in the Peak times and Off-peak times boxes. Use of this feature will require a data connection.
What is the difference between Fetch Mail and Direct Push? more
The Fetch Mail feature downloads an entire email immediately without the need for you to perform a full Send/Receive action. This limits the download to just the email message that you want and helps save data cost. While Direct Push technology (push email feature) enables you to receive new email messages on your phone as soon as they arrive in your Inbox on the Exchange Server. Items such as contacts, calendar and tasks are also immediately updated onto your phone when these items have been changed or new entries have been added on the Exchange Server. Use of this feature will require a data or Wi-Fi connection, which may incur charges from your data provider.
