What is the maximum microSD card capacity that my device supports? more
You may check your device specifications in the user manual. Since compatibility may depend on the card brand, it is recommended that you test the storage card on your device before you purchase it.
I can store MP3 files on my microSD card. However, when I try to install a new program to the storage card, an installation failure message always appears on my device, while on the computer side, it shows that the program has been installed successfully. What's the problem on my device? more
  1. Please check if there is enough space available on your storage card.
  2. Please check if ActiveSync is working properly. If not, please install the correct version of ActiveSync on your computer and try again.
  3. Check your firewall settings or anti-virus software. Perhaps the program has been blocked. You can disable the firewall and close the anti-virus software then try again.
How can I protect storage card data? more
On a PDA phone:
  1. Make sure you set the PIN Lock.
  2. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Encryption.
  3. Tap the Encrypt files placed on storage cards check box.
On a smartphone:
  1. Select Start > Settings > Security > Encryption.
  2. Select the Encrypt files placed on storage cards check box.
