Why does the PDA phone turn off automatically? more
Your PDA phone automatically enters standby mode and turns off the display after being idle for some time. Simply press the POWER button to turn it back on. In standby mode, the device continuously runs in a low power state to save battery power. The phone function and other wireless communication functions such as Bluetooth continuously operate in the background. The device turns back on automatically when there is an incoming call or an alarm reminder.
The device battery doesn't charge when connected to the computer via the USB cable. However, it charges fine with the AC adapter. more
  • Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged to the device's Power/Sync connector.
  • In PDA phones: Go to Start > Settings > System tab > Power > Advanced tab, and clear the When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC option.
  • In smartphones: Go to Start > Settings > Power Management, and set the When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC option to Off.
  • Replace the USB cable, then try again.
  • If this problem occurred after installing a third-party software application, remove the software application, soft reset your device, and then try again.
When battery power is completely drained and I charged the device using the USB cable, the amber/green LED indicator did not light up to notify me that the device's battery is being charged. It seems the device battery is not charging at all. more
When battery power is completely drained, use the AC adapter to charge the battery. The AC adapter's voltage is higher than the USB cable, so the battery charges faster.
Why does my device hard reset when I disconnect the main battery? more
The main battery should not be disconnected for more than 30 minutes (maximum). If the device hard resets after disconnecting the battery for a short period of time, the backup battery may be defective and may need servicing.
