How do I set an MP3 as an alarm sound?

There are 2 ways to use an MP3 as an alarm sound:

    1. To set your own music file as alarm sound, use the provided USB cable to connect the tablet to a USB port on your computer. Choose Disk drive as the connection type. This will allow you to access the micro SD card on your tablet from the computer and be able to copy music onto the micro SD card.

Open the new removable disk on your computer; create a folder on the root folder of the micro SD card and name it alarms, and then copy your desired MP3 files to this folder. Any song or MP3 file that you put on the alarms folder will be added on to the list of available alarms on the tablet.

After you have finished copying, unplug the tablet from your computer.

The Alarm clock will automatically search this folder for personalized alarm tones and when you create an alarm or a calendar entry, the MP3 file will be on the list of available alarms.

    2. You can select an MP3 to be your alarm sound directly if you have MP3 file in your Music folder. From the Home screen, go to All apps > Clock > Alarms > Edit > Alarm sound > Alarm sound (again) > New alarm > choose the desired music track > tap OK. The music track will be added to the alarms list.

NOTE 1: While the tablet is connected to the computer as a disk drive, you can’t access the SD card from your tablet, so you can’t use applications that rely on the SD card such as Camera, Gallery, or Music.

NOTE 2: The MP3s that you put under the alarms folder will not be seen under the music player application.
