Change the camera scenes
From the Camera app, tap the Scenes icon (“A” if auto is the current camera scene). Choose a different scene to change the camera mode. For example:
- Choose HDR when taking a picture in bright light
- Choose Low light for taking a picture with dim lighting
- Choose Panorama to take a panoramic picture.
See the device documentation for a more complete description of the different Camera Scenes.
Add effects to pictures
From the Camera app, tap effects icon (blue circle next to the shutter icon). Select the desired effect such as Distortion, Sepia, or Grayscale.
Use continuous shooting
From the Camera app, press and hold the shutter key to use the continuous shooting feature. The camera will take up to 20 pictures in rapid succession by default, and you can then choose which one you like best. If desired, you can turn off the continuous shooting limit and capture up to 99 pictures in rapid succession.
Note: Continuous shooting is enabled by default, but can be disabled in the camera settings. It will also only work when the Camera scene is set to Auto.
Take a picture while shooting a video
While taking a video, simply tap the camera shutter icon to capture a picture. The video recording will not be interrupted.
