I set an unlock pattern on my device and don’t recall what it is. How do I unlock my device?

If you’ve forgotten your screen lock pattern, you have up to five attempts to try and unlock your device.

If this fails, you can unlock your device by entering your Google Account user name and password.

    1. On the unlock screen, enter your lock pattern.
    2. After the fifth attempt, when you’re asked to wait for 30 seconds, tap OK.
    3. If the display goes off, press the Power button to turn the display back on, and then unlock the screen.
    4. Tap the Forgot pattern? button when it appears.
    5. Enter your Google Account name and password, and then tap Sign in. You’ll then be asked to create a new screen lock pattern. If you no longer want to do so, tap Cancel.

If you have not set up Gmail or do not recall your Gmail login information, you will have to factory reset your device and reconfigure it for use.

Note: A factory reset will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will remove any applications you've downloaded and installed.  SIM card data will not be deleted.

To perform a factory reset on your device:

    1. Remove the back cover of your phone
    2. Remove the battery
    3. Wait 30 seconds before re-inserting the battery back into the phone.
    4. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously to turn the phone on and enter the bootloader
    5. Using the Volume Down button, highlight FACTORY RESET
    6. Enter the selection by pressing on the Power button
    7. The phone will reboot and perform a hard/master/factory reset. This process can take up to 10 minutes to complete. Once done, the phone will boot into the Android OS.

What is the difference between "Warning" and "Limit" in Usage?
Warning is soft stop. When you approach this limit, you will be notified and you can go over this limit if you choose to.

Limit is a hard stop. Once you pass this limit, your phone will prevent you from using mobile data until your next billing cycle. If you want to continue using data after passing your limit, you will need to remove the data use limit by unchecking the circle for Set data usage limit.

Note: You will only see limit in the graph (denoted by a red line) if Set data usage limit is checked.
