  1. Available storage is less due to phone software.
  2. Network bands in regions other than Europe and Asia Pacific may be different, depending on the mobile operator and your location. Upload and download speeds also depend on the mobile operator.
  3. Battery times (talk time, standby time, and more) are subject to network and phone usage.

A Standby time specification ("specification") is an industry standard that is only intended to allow comparison of different mobile devices under the same circumstances. Power consumption in a standby state is strongly dependent on factors including but not limited to network, settings, location, movement, signal strength and cell traffic . Comparisons of different mobile devices using such a specification can therefore only be done in a controlled laboratory environment . When using any mobile device in real life circumstances for which the mobile device is intended, the standby time could be considerably lower and will be strongly dependent on the factors as mentioned above.

Note: Specifications are subject to change without prior notice

Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Phone A very good windows phone with all the features. Is competetive to Nokia Lumia series. HTC is known for its best hardware in the market. I must say that this is one of the most affrdable and excellent windows phone. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple device in easy words. This works! it has everything u expect from typical phone these days. decent camera. good battery life. good responsive screen. and on top of it all a windows 8 experience. i bought it as experiment to try windows 8 on cheap device and have fallen in love with this sleek design. haptic feedback of this phone is very different too, best i have noticed in any phone i have used. Rated 3 out of 5 by An OK phone The main reason I bought this phone because it was the cheapest windows 8 phone when it came out. After almost 3 months of use; the rubberized skin on the upper corner started to peel-off; internal memory was all used up. And when I'm browsing pages or watching videos online, it would occasionally go back to the home screen and erase the session completely. So, did I regret buying this phone? Not really. It is still a windows 8 which I oh so dearly like. Should HTC PH allow me to trade this in for a 8x then that would be great. March 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not a bad phone at all, but depend on you're needs. Reactive, Windows os is the best. Informations on a look so great. Long efficient battery if you dont have to use 4 g all the time. Size and the back touch is perfect for me (like a rubber plastic). I give a good quote for the price. Usage i do with it, is prepaid phone. If you are looking on memory for apps(games and you need a lot) pass you're way. But most winows apps are low on memory because it is based on updates. The worst i see? he dont have compass. To look on the stars is not perfect. I have to do it manualy. For most apliance, if you use it as a phone for prepaid. You will have a great phone. Good fealings, light, fast to charge and a windows very nice os. Dont forget to protect the beauty screen, It is a gorilla glass, but to keep it for a while better to keep it as a new when you prepaid for two years. I like windows 8 os. Faster than iphone 4. More sight on what happen instantly. April 1, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by 4GB memory space is not enough the 4GB memory on the Windows Phone 8S by HTC, is very disappointing and is clearly not enough for the users. You can expend your memory using a microSD card only to save photos, music and videos. But NOT apps. The Windows Phone 8 operating system takes up more than half the memory, leaving about 1.5GB for apps. I would recommend not getting this phone. December 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible device The htc 8s is an amazing phone and is complemented well by the amazing windows 8 os. Firstly the design, there is not a nice looking phone on the market FACT. The phone feels comfortable in your hand thanks to the curved back and it's screen size is perfect for you to be able to use the phone one handed. The phone itself is also very light. By sticking with windows, HTC have really achieved their goal of making a phone personal to you. I love being able to access all my social feeds in one place by using the people app, and also being able to make groups for those that matter most to me. My only dissapointment here would be that the os is quite large and only leaves you with about 1.3gb internal storage. The 8s display is rich and clear and although there are much better screens out there, the 8s still does a fantastic job. The camera is a bit of a let down but in all honesty how many people can actually say they use their camera that often? For just catching the occasional hilarious moment or other memory you want to keep the 5mp camera will be fine. Of course beats audio is a fantastic addition to the phone and in future if I decide to spend some money on a decent pair of headphones beats will be the only ones for me!! Regardless the music is still crisp and clear without them. Overall I'm hugely impressed with HTC. For months I was debating whether or not to make the switch, but now I'm glad I did. I've got a phone that suits my lifestyle and you should too! February 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the sleek design, but..... Had this phone for less than a week and it has hanged on me 4 times. I didn't install much apps, just the usual whatsapp and map apps. The only way out of getting out of the hanged format was to turn it off and on again, while it is being charged. Its so frustrating. I love the windows features but, seriously, I didn;t have much memory space to play with. Could that be why it hanged a lot? Dang February 17, 2013
